Had two guys talking about the fake sun hidden behind our sun and the planet of aliens that live there who built the pyramids. The only science they had to back up their argument was 45° angles. They tried to make references to reverse orbit planets but lacked the understand that those are generally gas Giants with gravitational influence from another large planet.

These people are why we can't get good teammates.

sometimes at High tiers 7-10 I still here from a guy grinding a tt tank. “Which way should we go”. I just think. This can’t be the first time you have seen this map. At tier 9 , you should have a pretty good idea of where your tank and your play style is best utilized.

If he wasn’t platooned, then yeah. But if I’m in a platoon I’ll ask the guys I’m with. Sometimes it easier to take 3 tanks to a place you wouldn’t usually go if you were solo.

Eventually. When their flank fell and the reds they didn't hurt came and killed the entire rest of our team.

WG decided to top it off with giving our team 4 Japanese heavys, so we were double screwed in firepower and intellectual capacity.

I understand the platoon situation or if your tank is mobile or can do multiple roles. But some tanks just are meant to brawl and others spot etc. At high tiers everyone who has played for any length of time should know where certain tanks go.

There is no guarantee that next game will garner a significant amount of XP to make "xp per hour" a thing.  The only fact is that you will get more XP if you kill the last tank.   And three minutes is a long time. Usually the last holdout is killed rather quickly.

Also it may have been his last game.

I'm making the point that the word still holds its original meaning in the UK. It can't be an anachronism if it is still being used with the original meaning.

The correlation between an anti-never-capture attitude and low win rate is pretty well established.  For reference see pretty much every capture related thread on this forum.

It's clear that players who jump on the flag at the first opportunity cost their team more wins than they secure.  How many more wins I can't quantify but I'd like to see some of these low WL high capture point players not touch the cap circle under any circumstances for 1000 games and see how it affects their stats.  Most bad players are too small minded to try something new to improve themselves, and focus instead on traumatic single game examples, the possible instead of the probable.  The actual example that guy used for why he always caps was this one time a teammate could have capped but didn't and a Matilda pulled off a Kolobanovs.

I just have a chip on my shoulder and was feeling defensive. When it comes to capping, most times I see it being performed by high tier tankers who aggressively damaged the lower tier reds they came across and dominated, did a bunch of damage and cap out with plenty of reds left to kill. My WR usually goes up but other things go down. I’m sure there are serial cappers like that.

My ability to win by my influence  is very limited, most players are the same and a few percent wr difference is likely influenced by luck more than players influence. It’s not a linear relationship representing competency or knowledge.

I always hear dumb things being said like this. The funny part is the tone of his voice while he's behind me,watching me continue down the hill to take out arty.Otherwise we would have been sitting ducks back at base, and been limited in positioning.

I did make the mistake of not popping out and finishing the Tiger II just after the Lowe bounced his round. After watching the replay,I realized the Tiger fired also and bounced his round on the Lowe.Still managed to do what I set out to do and then some,by making both the Tiger II and Lowe one shots.I'm stoopid for that apparently.lol.

Our Waffle lost us the game by not coming out from hardcover after the enemy missed his shot in a 1vs1 at close range.Instead he waited till he came around the corner and of course got blown up.

It is definitely a word commonly used to reference stupid in many parts of the English speaking world but it’s listed to be slang. It’s not just the Americans but i’m going to claim that English language is now more influenced by the populous USA than by the English. Might is right and US cultural dominance when it comes to Influencing English language is beyond comparison. Take the word [edited] or even the pronunciation of the letter Zulu or the concept of a Blue Tit.

Hello,

I continuously hear it speaking wrong, read it explaining wrong and see it played it wrong.

Not ignoring that I don't do it right all the time. Still ignoring most of the things I see, read and hear that are all wrongness.

Example : In every match, ppl go the wrong way alltogether when they should be deploying to capture and hold a handful of map control points evenly in the ideal early game. Yet I see very few players rush to those control points. In fact I'm the only one to do so : more spot, spotting dmg and assist for daddy.

Hello,

Hearing it wrong from twitchers and youtubers on this point.

Because they chase excellence in wn8.

From a math perspective, winning a game in three minutes is better than winning a game in six minutes. In the end of the year, that makes a good difference if the purpose is to excel in grinding.

If you want faster grinds, increase your average exp.

To do that you need to get more kills do more damage and win more often even when bottom tier.

Meaning in order to grind faster you need to get gudder.  Make the time you spend in the battle more productive. Capping the base alot isn't the best way to increase the speed of a grind, especially if you run premium time because you get the 50% bonus regardless of if you win or lose.

It is almost always a good idea to go after the last tank(s) though, especially if that last tank has a ton of health left. The only times you should cap in a guaranteed win is if the last enemy player is in a fast tank on a map where your team is going to struggle to find and catch up to him, and even then it might be worth chasing them down if they have a ton of health.
