I seldom get anything but a Tier VIII match in this fun Tier Vi. It is good, but it cant compete at these levels.

It’s op at it’s tier that’s why it’s so good.

That has been my thing with it the whole time. It is a beast when top tier but when low tier, I get shredded. And I seem to be low tier way more often. Not that I want an easy mode tank, but I would rather have a tank that is decent at both, than 1 that is dominant when top dog but garbage when low. So I rarely play the thing.

Even at tier VIII, I am able to mop up tanks. You just can’t yolo like you can in a top tier match and still come out on top. You gotta sit back and chip away, not rely on the wonky spaced armor and fire a bit of premium.

Me and my platoon mate got whomped by one in our tier 8s...2 tier 8s (and good premium tanks) vs a tier 6...not our finest moment, sure, but it can compete, I think I'm the only person without one :arta:

Treat it the same as you would a T-34-88 when you are double down, find your role in al three tiers you show up in. King, Knight, and Pawn, (6-7-8 respectively). I know the tank you have isnt what I have, but your tier should dictatate your support role, even if you just track targets so bigger guns can maul. Most important, never let anyone tell you it is uncompetitive against 8s.

Sure it can. You are just used to bully everyone around without effort. At tier VIII you have to actually give it some thought to make it work.

See it this way: The Absolution is pretty good tier VII tank, so you are only mid-tier.

I would take the T-34-88 or Pudel over the Absolution, w/o thinking twice. I feel much more confident in higher tier games, in those tanks vs the Absolution. But in a 4-5-6 match, the Absolution is obviously way easier to play (even if playing wreckless). I'd still prefer the other 2.

The Pudel is an interesting choice. I agree, it's a decent tank in low-tier games, and not even terribly overpowered as a high-tier (though I would say it's above average). Seems to be a well-balanced tank.

Ya for sure.

I guess my point of posting in this thread is that I am in the minority with my feelings on the Absolution. I really don't care for it. And while I agree that it is pretty OP when you can run around top tier, I can't get it to work in a tier 8 match. But the Pudel is not really what many would consider OP at all and I have no problems running it in any tier and really like it in any situation. Just giving a different perspective, since I know plenty of you guys think the Absolution is OP and get it to work just fine in tier 8. I just seem to get rolled on when I run it lol.

Just wait a couple weeks. When everyone gets their free Thunderbolt the matchmaker should be chock full of Tier VI tanks that the Absolution can stomp. :great:

Tank is disgusting.

Ofc your not gonna be able to yolo hulk smash like in T6 but the gun is more than capable with 157/221 pen.

t34 88 132/171 pen.

The [edited]Jammer has 128/177 pen at Tier 7 against TIER 9!  That's not competing.

I  hold my own in some tier VIII matches, but the pen can be tough - although I guess one can argue the rate of fire makes up for it. When I am lower tier I tend to go to the side with the heavies and try to support, but...the view range gets you killed by TDs.

Spam premium shells, overangle and the side armor can block a lot of tier 8 guns.

I'm not stealing kills, I'm handing out Confederate medals.
