To win tanks (I'm probably a little too excited to play my new Brett Parson tanks) and spread the word of those dangerous killer rabbits on the battlefield.

Mostly it's to chat to other players who like to play tanks as much as myself.

Fun to chat and learn from other players. The popcorn is great also.

P.S. The arty banter is also worth the price of admission.

The forum is my lifeline to the game. When I was new, it was where I came to increase my understanding. As a veteran, it is where I come to share my knowledge. I also still learn new details about how the game works. Mechanics, tactics, and news are all best discussed in the forum.
Another key benefit of the forum is the social aspect. Being able to converse without the distraction of a game being played and to have in depth discussions really helps to bring a community together not just online, but in some cases in real life as well.
The last thing I'll add is that the forum has been a means of having real, substantive communication with Wargaming. In some cases this has resulted in meaningful changes to the course of the game. None of the other social media offer as good of a platform for such in-depth discussion.
To me, a game without a forum is just a flash in the pan fad. A game with a healthy forum is much more likely to be something I can sink my teeth and time into for the long haul.

If you want to be one of the 47 Ronin check out our recruitment post and then send a message to Prof935 (xbox) or dimka935 (ps4).

One is arty topics. When I was seeking information about Op tanks and how to take them down, I read how shell shock player cry how broken and unfair arty is. It made me start to play arty just to see if it's true. Now that I know the truth, I'm amused by these cry topics that pop up like mushrooms after rain. So I read this forum for my amusement and I use it also to seek information. I try to value every opinion that people make even if it stupid and I try to be polite not to tell that staright out.  Good work and thanks for tips and troll messages, I love them.

Place of knowledge, gameplay tips, tank reviews, developer information, sarcasm.

The knowledge and experience of many of the players here was critical to increasing my understanding of the game, and improving my gameplay, even if I still can't sidescrape worth a damn.

Arty threads

Nah just kidding, just to mirror what most people are saying, it's great to chat with like minded people and learn from one another, it's the only forum community I'm actively a part of and I love it. No threads ever go undiscussed and most like to help one another.

It's also nice to get to know your fellow forumers and see all the regulars :).

I came here and lurked for a long time before posting. I like the depth of the game and the forum adds to that. I also like the people and the stupid jokes. Recognising people in the game.

I came here to learn more about the game and be better at it. I learned a lot and I did get a lot better than I was. I come back because I feel like I can still learn, still get better, but also contribute to help others. I still feel that this is a great (possibly the best?) source of info on what is current in the game and a way of feeding back to WG. The forum also gives a whole broad spectrum of different perspectives and opinions on a game that I have enjoyed for years.

In the last nearly 5yrs I've seen a lot of changes, improvements with the associated missteps and misfires. While WGCB might be pulled in lots of different directions and have their own steer for the game direction, I think it's still cool that we can come here and try to influence the future of the game. We can suggest content, fixes and improvements, even if we have to be careful what we wish for.

:)

Same here, On call technician. Some day I can't sit down at all and on others I just sit on my a_s all day waiting for something to break.

I will also add a place to Rant about crap teams, nerfed tanks, OP tanks, MM, and most of all RNG.

Good place to get updates, learn a little about game play, meet a fellow gamer or two, and a freebie or two thrown in.
