Let's add 3.4, 3.5, 3.6 and 3.7 seconds to the loading time of every single shell in the Tier X. People could have lived with a total of 4 seconds, but 14.2 seconds, come on. I know buffing a tank later is easier than nerfing it afterwards, but these stats make the Italian tanks a pure joke.

Seems like a bad joke, only....I'm afraid it's not.

Why is it that the same people who complain about WG balancing tanks on "a spread sheet" and asking for the people who play the tanks to balance them are looking at a tanks stats and determining that they are no good?

You're conflating the two.

People want the PC balances/changes to Tier X TDs and Arty etc. WG says, "No, they're fine." So when they bring over the PC tanks lines to here, we would assume they would not be nerfed into the ground when they come from an environment where things are more balanced.

They are using their "Spread Sheet Data" to defend keeping TDs that were nerfed ages ago on PC, (to no detriment to the game), and they are using their own "internal data models" to say that these new tanks need a massive nerfing.

Wargaming, you put the Pz V/IV in the game, the Absolution in the game, the Tiger 131 in the game, and have the fully buffed Deathstar and WT auf E100 in the game. You should be ashamed.

agree , i will not even bother playing the italian line if all those stats are right ,what a waste wg

I can assure you they are right.

After the polish line I wasn’t surprised to see the nerfs. Honestly if you don’t want people to play these tanks why even put them in the game?

I free xp’d Up to the tier 6, I’ll slowly play it or not depending on how I feel. But nerfs like this and some of the premium tanks is really making me question the direction of this game

I just done get the point in adding them when they’re so bad, I’d rather play a 131in a tier 10 game than play the new one

What amazes me is how some people seem to think these nerfs are fine. How on earth is nerfing these tanks to the point of uselessness fine whilst stuff like the completely unchanged tier X TD's remain.

I can cook my one minute rice in 58 seconds but I cannot reload my Progetto 65 in one minute.

Reloads are a little longer than I thought they would be. I guess after seeing that, my opinion has slightly changed. But in general, I am not that shocked and still feel like they may not be terrible. For as much as I complain about the Progetto premium, I do pretty decent in it. So I expect the same. But I do think the nerfs probably have gone too far.

we arr not the pc thank god.... stuiped stun mechanics, and template match making... that said these initial numbers do seem a bit harsh.

Agree with most sentiments in this thread.

In console we have the waffle still in game, the barn and deathstar have 275mm pen hesh still... but somehow new tanks get nerfed vs PC, where typically at tier 10 most tanks are weaker than console counterparts.

1370 dpm on the tier 9 Italian... the patton is basically double.

I'm not sure how this dpm at this tier is justifiable . I'd be interested to hear a sound arguement in favor of a tier 9 medium with 1300dpm.

I’ll take getting stunned over missed for 1k damage or one-shot any day. Templates were a good idea in theory, just not in practice. The important part is that both changes showed that PC is responding to player feedback and willing to experiment to resolve player concerns.

None of the tanks introduced recently (Italian and Polish) as well as the TVP don’t need nerfs, they never really did, especially when you compare them to the Super Conq, 430U, Deathstar, Waffle etc. They clearly don’t know how to balance tanks and this is just a huge example of that.

Glad I didn’t pull the trigger on buying the Ariete Progetto. Why bother training more than maybe one or two crews? These tanks all seem like dumpers esp with the additional nerfs.
