Relax clickers, you're safe, at least on console. :trollface: QB did a video review of new arty changes on PC and they look like a significant nerf indeed even though arty on PC is already kinda useless. Will we ever see something similar on console?

I don't hope it. I like my tier 10 arties. Arties have the same rights like all other tank classes in WoT.

Welcome, it's been known on Forums that Console won't get the Stun Mechanics and i don't think they plan to change Arty anytime in the near future.

i generally post more News on Twitter these days but "may" post on Forum from time to time on my Future Vehicles Thread

They're approaching it differently on console.  Instead of reworking artillery or fixing matchmaking, they've decided to bleed players.  They are so hung up on being different, but generally the differences all favor PC.  

 

PC gets grand battles, we get Core Breach.  PC gets public testing, we get surprise changes.  PC gets competitive modes, we get War Stories. 

 

PC changes how premium account works to give players more value.  We get a new exception policy that manages to be more restrictive.

 

I'm not bitter.

Well, putting it that way, I'm kinda salty. Like, why the Eff do we not have a competitive clan mode?

Does WG really know what to do with artillery? Notice no new artillery in any of the new lines. No new premium artillery in a long time. No mercenary artillery. I think WG is stuck and does not have an answer. Maybe WG is hoping artillery will just fade away with the flood of lights in the game?

I used to play alot on PC, and i've only played a few arty games on console, but i think it needs to be hit with the nerf bat in a big way.

Well "the Mighty Jingles" felt a bit sorry for the artilleryplayers because it was the only class that "bodily and mentally disabled people could play", so there is that.

If they're not going to nerf artillery, they could at least make their tracers more visible to other artillery players.

That would give friendly artillery a chance to play counter battery more efficiently. Might make it more interesting to play the class.

The biggest problem we have with arty is that it can have the potential to one shot or wreck ya (it doesn't even need to hit), while in the safety of the spawn, and there is absolutely no way to counter it, unless one lucky light gets through the gauntlet and manages to light them up, and destroy them. Seeing that arty can also shotgun, even that is not always an efficient counter.

Stop referring to the pc.   the xbox is it own no comparison.   if yall like watching the updates for pc go play there n get off xbox

And, incidentally, as WarGaming tries to sell a new toy on console, servers for Tanks goes completely bananas.

Just adding that, as it's another fact.

I'd sacrifice my T10 arty willingly if they actually got rebalanced or removed.

If console implements this within the next 6 months, I will spend $1,000USD that day, with pics to prove it.  Also, I will spend an additional $1,000 if any (2) of the following is done.  Reduce platoon size to 3, limit arty to 1 per team, reduce tier X TD alpha damage to 750 across the board, nerf HESH pen on Deathstar/S***Barn.
