If you are being penned by a Sherman then he is definitely firing premium, and I can't really imagine where the heck he is hitting you to do it if you have any degree of angle. He should also have lasted about 15 seconds against your gun.

You should always be firing across the ends of your tracks and use them to eat the shots of low accuracy guns.

If angled, then against stock auto aim, or even turret shots, you should bounce most standard pen ammo through to tier 6 and 7 easily. Unfortunately because it is a tough bugger a lot of people do spam it with premium, which is where Captured KV high DPM heavies and the like become problematic.

Thanks man!! It worked just as you said it would. I was up against another British Bulldog and well,?  you’ll see!!

When a man with a .45 meets a man with a rifle, you said, the man with a pistol's a dead man. Let's see if that's true. Go ahead, load up and shoot.

Nice.  I did not see the earlier thread but saw this one.  Will try the "over the tracks" angling when I use Bully next.  Thanks!

Hmm, I believe it was more the case of red BB firing AP at you and trying to aim your UFP while you were rocking back and forth, while you were shooting red tracers at him while RB/RT. That plus he was a bit overangled.

Making a thread soley to reply to a different thread seems kinda pointless considering the original topic is still being commented on.

Don't see the point of worrying about it myself. But if its worries you and its annoying carry on...

No problem, just remember it doesn't solve all problems, but it does put your hull at the right angle to be harder to pen, and the tracks will help eat shots.

Also, PM's and the original thread would have been fine, but thank you.

He was completely side on for the first 15 or so seconds, which is a big problem with the BB. If GBS had slowed down he could have just shot the engine out.

Shot 1, 02:09, hits front right track aiming for LFP.

Shot 2, 02:14, hits ground. Aiming for LFP.

Pen 1, 02:18, probably LFP.

Shot 3, 02:22, not sure - may have been the track, may have been the UFP. But with the extra 30+ degrees that is now thicker than the average pen of the Churchill gun.

Shot 4, 02:29, not sure what he is aiming for now, I assume the LFP again because he hits the tracks.

Pen 2, 02:36, GBS has gone almost face forwards and so it's a relatively easy shot to pen.

If it had been me I wouldn't have gone full around the corner and used it as cover for the other half of my tank with side scraping - but with the respective health of the two tanks he had a decent chance so long as his armour held out.
