A bit of personalization and the easiest way to put an IS-7 up there.

I don't play anymore, just loiter around the forum from time to time.

It's been something I've been meaning to change for a while as I would like to make my own sig but I've never got round to it.

I'm normally on mobile so don't see signatures.

I've re-added mine, so i can click it to see if more than 60,001 trees cut appear in the future, when i'm on a laptop.

To each their own. I could care less about stats for something imaginary.

I like posting my favourite tank in the stats pic, That's about it.

I'm not good enough to show off, and not bad enough to put them up ironically.

I go through spurts. Mine are showing now because I added them to my sig after I made my post about finally hitting purple WN8. I'll probably remove them again. I like looking at other people's stat sigs regardless of their ability. Its nice to get an idea where everyone is at playing this game.

When I started coming to the forum, there was a tread talking about signatures.

I said, what the heck why not.

I just wanted the sig, since it is pretty cool. I don't care at all about my stats. Anyone who knows me, knows that I can be good but I also sometimes have my own agenda. If our team is going to loose badly , I might decide I want to try to hunt a particular tank down, or do something probably stupid but that keeps me entertained instead of frustrated. So I don't really use the stats to show anything. Sometimes they are good, sometimes they are bad. Makes no difference to me. But I check them to see how the week went or whatever. Mainly it's a cool interactive sig, so I use it.

I had one of the wotinfo, console  signatures for a while, but I took it down because I was tired of seeing it. I mean I see my stat page every time I sign in, for it's the first place I go to on the site. I don't need to see it here every time  I post something here too.

As for others, I turned off seeing forum signatures on the forums here when I found out it was an available option.

I have seen them all hundreds, maybe even thousands of times. It became an eyesore to me. I hate repetition, so that's part of it. Not to say that some of the signatures weren't very creating and cool. I just got tired of seeing them. And there were a couple I just absolutely despised. The smirky faced anime girl one and a couple non tank related ones.... just made no sense as to being displayed here. So now I don't see them. I personally don't see the point to them anymore.

Stats give credibility.

Sometimes I read something on here and think that I don't agree, but if the posters stats are good, then that's an indication that maybe I'm wrong and I can learn something new.

Everyone was running sigs back in the day. I did mine and don't know how to undo it.

Does anyone know Ghost of Ghera ???

do not know him but played alot of battles with him on my side thank fully , apart from one night  when he was on the reds for 9 running battles one after the other  my team faced him , he was in  a platoon , and that was  my biggest loss in arow ever , that guy is utterly brill at this game ,even if he is  bottom tier he does more damage than anyone else

As a matter of curiosity - where do you draw the credibility line?  ie reject anything said eg by a light blue?  Or a green?  Or maybe a certain win-rate?

When I started reading on the forum.I had sigs hidden as I was on mobiles a lot. When I started posting it never really occurred to me. I turned on sigs to find something in Max's sig and left them on. I realised people have YT channels etc.

I must subconsciously blank them though, as I don't notice the contents. Like OP - I never noticed yours aren't purple til you mentioned it. Funnily I only use a tablet now for foruming and the purple on blue background is unreadable now that I've actually looked.

If I was worried about stats then I would look them up, but I don't bother. Except KNT, but he invited it. My stats are pretty bad, but not hard to find, so it's not like I can hide them. It never occurred to me that someone's opinion might not be valid because they have bad stats. That's like saying their brain doesn't work because their thumbs aren't co-ordinated.

:)
