I imagine you could get a better damage rate sitting at the spawn, raising your barrel and firing into the air until you run out of ammo than the wn8 for either of the players in the OP.

I mean some players are so bad they have under zero.
My favorite has to be the guy with several thousand games in the T-54 we found, he had a 64 wn8 and one pen every 3-4 games on average. Best player ever.

sub 400 wn8. Seen it once. Everybody has equal rights to enjoy the game, however players like these drag everybody down.
Well... im gonna sound like a snob here, but im seeing a lot of players who's only plan seems to be dying early in the game.
In my perception, everybody on my team and those i face is +/- 1k wn8 and i don't think im far from the truth.
3 MOE: IS-6 - Aufkl Panther - Tiger 131 - Jackson - Pz.V/IV.

You're right, I remember seeing some AFK pro's stats and he had negative value WN8. I don't know how is he managing to achieve that (lol, achieve), but that particular guy has over 20k games on his account.

He's a friend of mine, doesn't care about stats.

My dislike of +/- 1 pales in comparison to my hatred of Loaded Dice.

For about 6 months I would get put on the same team as a particular player. They would invariably be top tier, they would be in a heavy and they would camp spawn hard. As I was normally bottom tier There was very little I could do to carry and the games would be hard losses.
They had a WN8 of about 400 which is bad enough but when combined with always being top tier and being in a heavy made them just about the worst player I had the misfortune to be stuck with.

Afk players are the worst part of online games. They don't care about how much harder they make the game for the team they are on. It's insulting that most of them believe they have some special right to do nothing and get the same rewards as people who actually intend to enjoy the game as it was intended. I think that is also why so many people hate wallet warriors.

He should have given a shot at improving. It's actually very easy in this game with war stories and a friend who knows how to play. He could easily be 1-2k wn8 in a week or two in recents if he spends a few hours a week training on aiming and map deployment.
Pick him up a decent premium and give him a chance to learn in a tank that won't lose him silver.

Problem is, my friend just wants to play and have fun, he don't want to watch tutorials, read guides or anything like that, he just want to relax and play. And because World of Tanks is extremely complicated game with ton of different stuff to learn... he has given up. Besides, he HATES being bottom tier and he feels grinding takes waaaayyyyy too much time... 150k-250k xp to research tier 9 or 10 vehicle is waaayyy too much in his opinion. I have tried to cheer him up and tryied to boost his morale and guide him... but he has given up. And he's not gonna spend any more money in this game (he had premium time for 2 years and has one tier 8 premium tank, Jagtiger 8.8) because he feels it's just a waste.

If only that was an acceptable excuse. I have seen 6 year olds better at fortnight than the grown men who populate the majority of this game.

I wouldn't post that. People have been banned for naming and shaming themselves before.
