Thanks, everyone for giving your inputs! I finally decided to open my wallet to Obj 252U.

 

Though thanks to @Joco3000, for giving me a damn good tangential suggestion. CKT would be my next buy whenever this -30% off sale OR the tank exchange thingy comes back.

They are both pretty close to each other minus a few differences so I say more if which line do you need a money maker for, but if it's for fun go with the 252u it's just sexy

Defender is one of the most cursed tanks for me so I’m little biased maybe but I still prefer 50tp mainly due to the better gun depression.

I played a couple of rounds in 252U and its quite a fun tank! What was funny in one match, an E75 round after ricocheting from an odd angle, the chap decided to back off immediately, and I ended up giving a chase

The Defender is a pure brawler. If you have to aim you are playing it wrong. Just get up close and personal and RB-RT.

With cola, BIA etc the reload comes down to 4.91 secs and that takes the dpm to 2933 (approx.), so in my opinion that's not only unique but quite good. Though from replays and stats, its sluggish compared to King Tiger. Check this vid out for more:

Kinda, but not to that extent.

The gun stats are very similar to what the Jadgtiger 8.8 gets, just in a turret and with a slower fire rate.

 

It's something of a hard tank to explain, because a heavily armoured heavy with a medium's gun doesn't really exist.

 

I like it though, which I suppose is all that matters.

Quite the opposite really lol, 50tp is one of the worst gun's I've ever used, the Defenders gun is another Russian which hits and pens 90% of the time, the thing that kills the 50tp is the aim time, MY GOD, the time you have actually aimed in and fired a shell (which will probably miss or bounce as less than 75% of my shots have actually hit). also the armour is meh but obviously the defenders can easily bounce tier 10 since its Russian again lol. I have only played 3 more matches in my Defender (252U) than my 50tp but have over 14k more damage caused, average damage on eh 50tp is 1.15k, average damage with the Defender is 2.35k. Trust me get the 252U otherwise you will regret it.

lol no.

 

its accuracy needs a buff before it can be a recommended buy. the 50tp pr also didnt need the nerfs it got but the Defender shouldnt have been made worse than what it already is on PC either.

You can make the Object 252u almost invincible from the front, all you need to do is drive a little backwards up a little hill, that way you make the angle of the big lower plate bigger. Don't go to far tho, or it will cost you the effectivennes of your upper armor. It also works when you're in a lower position and the enemy is in a higher position. I bounced round after round from a PzIV Waffle.

Offcourse they can hit your cupola, but don't be a static target when you got tiny weakspots.
