Hello tankers!

 

Please share your feedback for all game improvements in Update 4.10!!

Optimized UI performance.

Added Premium tank bonuses to the tank description on the Overview tab.

Trees that fall over and have their canopies/leaves intersect with bushes or other downed trees now have improved transparency.

Added the option to "Press B and Hold" to dismiss all Op celebrations on the Ops Tab.

Added "Press and Hold" function to purchase a tank.

Added the overall reload time of all shells for the Italian Auto-reloaders.

Added the per-shell reload time for Italian Auto-reloaders.

Adjusted generic emblem names to improved names:

  • Emblem 1 → Gold Logo
  • Emblem 2 → Logo Badge
  • Emblem 1 → Logo Wings
  • Emblem 2 → Logo Shield
  • Emblem 3 → Double-Headed Eagle
  • Emblem 4 → Roundel
  • Emblem 5 → Horseman Shield
  • Emblem 6 → Coat of arms of Washington
  • Emblem 7 → Free France
  • Emblem 8 → Come Out Fighting
  • Emblem 9 → Seek and Destroy
  • Emblem 10 → Armored Division
  • Emblem 3 → Hunter Shield
  • Baby on Tank → Baby in Tank

The Service Record option in the PBRS now requires Press and Hold.

Improved the Premium/Elite loading screens text in Japanese.

Discount tags have been added for Camouflage, Inscription, Emblem, and Flags.

Icebound has been smoothed out in various areas where tanks were flipping too often.

Updated Gold pack artwork

Map Rotation has been adjusted.

Interesting. No improvements to the servers. I believe that would be more beneficial than transparent tree limbs.

Looking at the map list, it appears that players don’t like the map variants. WG, please make note of this moving forward. Hi Guys,Have you done something with the Gun Sights ,I am partially sighted & i am really struggling trying to play the game at the moment as a result of the change to the gun sight circle and the way it moves around instead of decreasing in size when aimed in.This could mean the end of playing world of tanks for me.:(

Be that as it may, I would still rather they produce new maps. I have been looking through the patch notes in detail, looking for something which will genuinely improve the game, and make me think “wow, that’s great”, but I can’t really find anything significant (like the auto re-loader mechanism in the last update).  Some bug fixes, a few tank balance changes,  some new camos, tweaking the map frequency and the armour viewer is pretty underwhelming in the context of the feedback from the community and what’s happening on other platforms.

 

Am I missing something?  Has anyone else found anything genuinely game changing?

This update is mainly to repair some thing and remove known irritants. On the other hand, there are some "irritants" that must remain because it is precisely what makes the game addictive ... the MM for example. If he repairs it as you wish, close the servers right away and put the key under the door.


I use Google translator for english language

Lots of juggling in french text, sometimes translator in trouble with that. If you do not understand what I write, tell me.

Agree.  I wasn’t expecting changes to the MM (personally I have got “over” that now and just play the tanks I am dealt).  I was more referring to evolutionary features which continue to improve the game.  There have been quite a few in the last year or so (auto re-loader mechanism, Polish and Italian tank lines, different arty view point, changed engine and gun sounds, damage counters in the UI - just some that come to mind).  This feels much more like a “maintenance” update.

The "Hold B to dismiss all" is very appreciated on the ops page, but it really doesn't need to be a hold. Can you please change it to just press B?

That's weird... I don't see any improvements to the nerfed-to-[edited]Italian tier 9 and 10. Absolutely trash tanks since they came out on console and highly disappointing to the people excited for them.

Feedback for: Added Premium tank bonuses to the tank description on the Overview tab.

 

I'm glad the Dev's finally listened and added this info in-game.  However, this is another of those things I keep talking about when I mention the growing disconnect between what players are asking for and what Dev's are designing into the game.  I think the Dev's are trying to be genuinely helpful, but they don't seem to know how the players use a lot of this info.  That ends up giving the appearance like they don't play the game enough in actual matchmaking to see how these things are used in practicality.

 

This is the kind of info that should have been added so it shows up in the Garage Stats, so you can quickly and efficiently see it as you're scrolling through your premium tanks.  Somewhere along the right side or something, where it has Firepower, Survivability, Mobility, etc.  I picked several Premiums at random the other day and I'm able to pull up the Premium Tank bonuses quicker and more efficiently on third party websites than I was through the actual new in-game system.  Adding it to the Overview Tab, while I'm sure was a lot easier to do, kind of makes having it in-game kind of moot.  

 

It's like adding the damage counter indicators.  It's cool they finally added this much requested feature, but most of the time you can't use it, because you can't see it.  The white font gets washed out by the skyline the majority of the time because of where they placed it on the GUI.  Trying to see it on a snow map is all but impossible, because you can't point the camera down to the darker ground or something to try and make it out.  It ends up also getting washed out by the snow.  They should make the numbers the same font color as the "reload" numbers on the left side of the aiming reticle.  That would make it ten times easier to see.
