I respect the "data"  when it says the tank is performing as expected.   But could you please try playing the IS6 in a 1v1 situation against a Chrysler K   or a Defender.

There is literally an Xbox 360 in a museum, and this is the best joke you can come up with?

Tank is fine. Just play better.

that opinion might be fine if you actually had the tank...

13 T10 tanks in only 1500 battles.   That sounds expensive,  but I appreciate you supporting the game.  Perhaps not as much as wg does.

It's been a while since last I said, "Oh, crap! That's an IS-6!"

Just for the record,  it wasn't me who put forward the question in  the battle hero's article.

I agree. The IS-6 is horrible. Not even worth playing to be honest. I own the black version & dislike it completely.

While it's not my best performing t8 heavy it's still a viable tank.  The trick is to run only premium ammo and to use your speed to change your angling as you brawl somebody.  Against any t9 you will lose.  And if you get stuck out of cover most t7 and above tds can and will canoe you.

So pick on same tier mediums and heavy tanks.  More then enough of those to bully about.  Anything non td lower tier then you just keep in front of you.  Use your speed and alpha to scare the bejeezus out of them.  Not hard to get a 3k game and a few kills.  If you are on ps4 look me up.  It's not too hard to show somebody how to run it.

Would I like a buff to its standard ammo pen ?  Absolutely.  You can still make some silver with it but it's not a money maker.

I fired 3 APCR in my IS-6 at a Nomad’s upper plate while it was slightly angled and all bounced. :arta: The tank is very much fun to play.

I still find my viable, not sure what people are talking about. I've 3 marked it too. I find it requires a bit more patience and timing than the easier tanks.

you have answered your own question.

Also,  3 marking a tank doesn't have anything to do with balance/powercreep.

the is6 is from a time when premiums were slightly worse than the tt version.   Loading only premium rounds, pretty weak ones at that is not to helpful against some of the tanks it encounters.

The tank itself is ok I think. It seems to hold up well against anything below about 220 pen. I think it needs standard AP of like 200-210 and premium APCR of 240, if not 240 then at least enough to get through an e75 lower plate.

so you think the tank is ok, but also think it needs a Penn buff? :amazed:   So really you don't think the tank is ok.

Nope it sure isn't.   Gotta pick your fights and bully lower tiers.  That said if against same tier heavy.  If you can get into a defensive spot where you can use your armor.  Lots of auto bounce angles to be abused.

Against higher pen guns.  Say 250 260 plus whatever the over match for an is6 angled upper plate and side skirts.  You will get buttered.

please go and face hug a Defender or a Chrysler K.    Bullying lower tiers doesn't make it a balanced tank.

I thought bullying lower tiers was what this game was all about.
