That's why you see so many YOLO in the games, while they're available.  Most just go out, YOLO and die, then back to the garage hoping the previous match ends with a win.  Rinse and repeat.  You tend to see it even more on the weekends.

Unfortunately this is a tactic to get the 150 wins.  Last night I went 22 wins in 40 games (55%) which is my average win rate. 50% of those games it was obvious the team was going to steamroll for the win so to maximize play time I yolo and on to next game. Rinse and repeat. Also same thing if obvious bad team. My average game time is likely around 2 to 3 minutes.

YOLO for loot chests is a terrible idea IMO. You would have to play recklessly for hundreds of games in one week in order to get the two Long Haul chests. Does that really sound like an enjoyable and good use of your playing time? If so, fine. But if not, please do not recommend this tactic to others in the community.

It's a viable tactic for good players. It doesn't mean playing recklessly. A skilled player can maximize win rate. Big difference to just running out and dying and hoping the team wins.

So unless the loot box is all your playing for I don't see this as a thing. There are merc contracts, spring ops etc and you think people are just playing for the loot box. It's a side thing. I have completed at least 1 every time the op has been active and have never "intentionally" yoloed. It is just a nice by product of doing the rest.

Never have the time to even complete one never mind two. Lol. So i cheated and let the wee man purchase two last night. Seems to have better luck than me. He got a tank i didn't have. T-34-85M. Already have the HMH version. But no worries.

Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm

For some it's side product, but for many free to play gamer it's and important source of gold that helps them with the equipment changes etc. Also every box is a change to win a premium tank and that is the trick that makes people buy those loot boxes.
