I have been wanting a new premium heavy tank and after seeing the Chrysler K on the "personal" offer I decided to buy some gold. Then I got the urge to buy some hero chest and ended up with a King Tiger. Comparing the 2, they don't look different enough to justify having both to me. I really enjoy the King Tiger so far.

To the tankers that have both, are they different enough to own both?

Is the Chryslers armor really that much better?

I don't find the Chrysler armor to be that great. I do really like the aim time, though. I love tanks with great aim time

Hull down its really hard to beat the chrysler.  King tiger can be penned with premium through the turret cheaks.  Chrysler is also a bit better armed with good gun stats and it's faster.

It will go up like a tiki torch if you get hit in the front however.  I found the king tiger just ok.  Nothing special.

Chrysler is fun tank, if you can handle rear turret and you can afford to shoot premium ammo  2/3 of your battles. Armor is still usable in hull down position if no-one shoots premium ammo. Top armor is thin and tank is big so artillery's loves it. King Tiger is Tech Tree Tiger 2 with top package and premium bonus, it's a bit better than Tiger 1, but still a tiger. I trade mine away as I have Captured Tiger II and Tech Tree Tiger II.

I feel like the King Tiger isn't very unique, given it's a reskin.

The Chrysler is a unique tank.

I haven't played either so just my two cents.

I love the TT king tiger, though.

Also atm with all the merc contracts there is an abundance of 9 and 10 tanks running about.  Great time to run t7 and t8 premiums.  Once those are done playing an 8 will get you bottom more often.  Chrysler is faster and plays more like a medium bottom tier.  Something to think about.

One is a brawling heavy, and one is a ranging heavy (view range, pen, accuracy). Playing one in the other's theoretical role may result in premature burning metal... your own. I floundered in the TT Tiger as a beginner but by the time I earned the premium was a much better player and like it enough to have it as one of the 20 tanks in my small garage.

King Tiger pays 60% silver bonus, Chrysler 50%, if that‘s important for you.

I like both tanks!!  If you have the gold, I would own both. During the tier 8 ranked battles, the Chrysler was my go to tank. Decent armor, mobility and dpm equals great for the 7v7 battles..  They both are very capable and fun!!

No heavy tank in the game got so much hp/ton then the Chrysler K, it got more then most mediums. Uphill it's even faster then a ariete Progetto.

This on top of the aim time is why I love mine. It can also side scrape really well. But it’s so nice on the hilly maps where most heavies struggle to go anywhere but one main brawl town without showing up late, this thing can truck up hills like no tomorrow.

The only annoying part is the <200mm of pen on its standard rounds

Yep, I picked up the Chrysler and have had time for 3 games in it. It is a brawling machine. Very good pick up for the price right now.
