Which one is better, I'm not keen on spending the gold on a Reskin of a tier 10 unless it is better in basically everything.

Both are meh. The 10 doesn’t have 3 sec intro clip reload so it’s probably better

Lights tanks need rebalanced(again)

Update 4.2 and 4.6 were terrible

I usually get all the French tanks, but I passed on the HMH modèle 58.

Simply because it is a mini version of the 105 with no glitter or glamour. It looks nice, but that is about it. I don't feel any love for it. I have the 105, which is fine. You can still do a lot in it.

Hello,

The HMH has poor mobility, it is as agile as a fly stuck on honey, the intra clip is very long (3 sec), it has a horrible penetration and the days cursed by the RNG even the premium shells bounce off everything they encounter.

In addition, you will almost always be placed in battles with tier 10 tanks, so you might as well select the AMX that does more damage, have more HP and is a little less clumsy on the move.

The positive point of HMH is that it can bring in a lot of money when the RNG and the reds allow you to penetrate the armor, but it is very rare.

Just bought the 58 but haven't played it. I like the 105 though. Tough to compare the 2. I just got the 58 for something fun to play and make some credits. I obviously know it will not perform the same as the 105 (even though it is apparently based off of the same tank). But the tier 10 is always going to be top tier. I'd rather take my chances in a 105, running into 8s and 9s, than be in the 58 and possibly have to face the 105 (and every other tier 10). But for me the 105 was worth the grind, maybe not so much for it's performance (or really lack of consistency) but it is a fun tank. For example, I think the Sheridan is a better tier 10 light but the 105 is more fun to play.

They are both pretty embarrassing for the most part.  And yes, if you can get  Michael Schumacher to drive your Mom's Rayno around an F1 track he will kick all of our asses in OP sports cars.  So I hope in the future the term "this turd is really nice smelling in the right Janitors hands" stops at some point.
When a man with a .45 meets a man with a rifle, you said, the man with a pistol's a dead man. Let's see if that's true. Go ahead, load up and shoot.

Very true!

You have to keep in perspective that very fact; how can you compare a Tier VIII with a Tier X;

the hmh is a turd,wg have crippled it with the intra clip reload, also the Penn and gun handling are below par as well ,save your cash, the 105 is much more useful.

This is not so inconsistent because the majority of battles played by HMH Modele 58 confront it with Tier X tanks.

I would be more comfortable comparing apple to apple. Both the HMH Modèle 58 and the AMX 13-105 have the same bore gun, the same chassis, but everything else is "bigger" on the AMX 13-105.

I would think it is more legitimate to look at what other lights do as Tier VIII.

I cannot give a first hand impression, I do not have the HMH 58.

Actually I'm pretty sure that I am a better driver than Schumacher right now.....

I agree in part, but I don't think that everyone has to be able to play every tank. The AMX Chaffee is a good example, possibly a turd for the average heavy tank driver, excellent tank if you are able to make yourself hard to hit. Closer to the topic, the Even 90 is probably very similar, at least it took me a while to make it work. (Atrocious gun, easily the worst of tier VIII.)

Sad to think that Michael Schumacher will most likely never drive again, ever... let alone Mom's Rayno...

The HMH 58 is a challenge for sure, and very underwhelming when compared to it's peers so play it more like a medium (think Bat Chat 25T) and never alone and stay alive as this does shine in the end game. WG just need to buff the intraclip reload imo, the rest is manageable. The Amx 13 105 can hold it's own against other lights (just), the HMH will just get wrecked if you go hand to hand

However, with a 67% wr over 31 battles, this turd is really nice smelling in the right Janitors hands ;)
