Well I have got to around 89% on three different tanks, but this last few percent is taking an age to do! Ive been at it for MONTHS, on and off. Good games, bad games, it just feels like I will never ever get there. There is so many factors that can affect how the end result of each match is determined. I swear its harder than EVER once you hit the 85% mark! Any of you out there going for these? Any tips that I'm missing? I wont quit til I get them, but it does feel SO FAR FAR AWAY

I have seen and also have been guilty of spamming prammo + food when in 3rd MoE grind. And that honestly helps!

Plus if heavies, then be on the frontlines, track more, so that you get the assist. Same with meds/lights, with tracking and spotting for extra assist. All those help a lot!

depends on the tanks you are trying to three mark. Right now many good players are using certain tanks to grind contracts. When so many people are using the same tanks and performing well, it can make three marking them daunting.

I gather you are attempting to three mark your CH3 and KV1? With the Spring Ops on again people will be farming points in their seal clubber tanks. The CH3 and KV1 are easy tanks to seal club in and get your daily points done quickly. The bar may be temporarily higher for the next few weeks. For both tanks I would run 30 premium rounds and  food. That will be more than enough to get your third mark for both.

When you say track more, could you define what this means? Is it visually tracking a target? Its the orange ribbon you get in games isn't it?

Shoot their tracks out. Then you get track assist damage from anyone else shooting that same tank.

It all comes down to playing aggressive without taking damage.

It's worse on PlayStation, we have a smaller community. And more good players to average players ratio. lol

I don't have a source if that's what you're asking. But Xboxs population is larger. Due to them having 360, I know several super unicums who went from Xbox to PlayStation, because apparently it's " easier " on PlayStation. Despite having a smaller population I would argue its harder. Since playing on a large population platform you're more likely to run into bad players. Plus when it comes to marking tanks.

5% of 3000 is 150 but 5% of 300 is 15 so trying to get into that magical 5% can be much more difficult depending on the people playing that tank. since there is a population size larger on Xbox it's easier to get into the 5%, hense why I originally said it's harder to mark tanks on PS4 lol some tanks might only have 5-10 people in that 5% so if you can't do more damage than the guy above you you physically can't move up. where as if there is 40-50 people in the 5% can move up by doing comparatively less

Example person #50 has 3000 average dmg

Person #49 has 3010 dmg

Person #48 has 3012 dmg you can move up 3 positions by simply doing 13 more damage

Example 2 on a smaller sample size, person 10 has 3,000 dmg

Person 9 has 3,180

Person 8 has 3,350

Your average just to move up has to be hundreds higher than the guy above you just to get into that 5%

We only have 5% less player than Xbox 360+xbox one together and our playerbase is as bad as their

Figure out what combined damage you need to not lose standing.  Hit that every single game.  Measured aggression, take no risks until you reach your target damage.

Periodically you will have a good map or favorable MM or plain old dumb luck and have a great game that moves you forward, but what keeps you in limbo is backsliding.

Thats not how it works. You dont have to be in the top 5% to get marks. You only need 95% of the current top damage+assist. Theoretically all player could get a three mark at the same time.

Follow the lemmings and shoot tracks lol. 1 track could be worth a fat stack more than 1 lower plate hit.

In regards to that, don't be afraid to go straight to Prem rounds when in a Tier 8 game, If you can get 3-4 full pens in those games you will stop the slide backwards and the Tier 6-7 games will carry you over.

Getting the last 5% only really needs a few good M's and 1st's in a row. I wouldn't bother with prem tanks and only play the kv1 with the derp gun and plenty of prem rounds. Pick an easlier tank to mark... If you can 1 mark a tank by 50ish games, 2 marks by 100ish, play that one.
