It has actually been rather cool down here in Texas so far. I don't think it's gotten over about 100-105 degrees and has usually been about 95 each day.

I used to go to Arizona (Phoenix area) every year as part of my job. Seen awesome thunderstorms crossing the desert from Cali and brutal heat. I pulled into a bank and there were 5 or 6 cars in the lot with there motors running, I then realized they all had the AC on to keep the cars cool. Also noticed at mid day there was no one on the streets, it was like a ghost town. One time in Mesa it was 115 (high) and at midnight it was still 100 degrees.

Things are pretty backwards right now. I live near Tampa and it has been oddly mild for the season.

I've experience both hot southwest climates and humid east coast climates and I will take southwest heat over a hot east coast any day. That humidity is oppressive and you can't escape it.

I'm an AC repairman so I get very little gaming time during the summer. Weather hasn't been bad this year here in Arkansas. It's been around 93 this past week but the high tomorrow is like 78. Bunch of rain, humidity has been nuts.

I’m avoiding it inside(AC), but our sliding glass doors in the back are covered in condensation 24/7!

West coast here, we haven't had a heat wave all year, 85° F today, it's weird because we sometimes get a heatwave late may, by june the heat is on, 90-100+, 80's to 90's at night.
This year so far mid 80's for the summer and 60's at night, too perfect.

In Iowa on Friday it was about 100 degrees with 50 percent humidity. Last winter around my birthday it got down to around -30. We get the worst of both worlds.
My dislike of +/- 1 pales in comparison to my hatred of Loaded Dice.
