WINNERS:

1)  YoungestBike679

2)  Stuart Sherman

Well, I could not help after reading another thread but wonder what the creative minds of the forum might be able to come up with in regards to map design.

So break out your colored pencils, your crayons, your MS paint, your etch-a-sketch or whatever you feel comfortable designing with and design a map for WoT console.  Will it get made?  Who knows but have fun and you can earn some tanks in the process.

So the rules...

Criteria looking at:

Prizing:  I have the following codes of this batch left (3) T-32 Proto, (2) Stark, (1) Skorpion G, and (1) Wojtek.  First place gets a choice of 2 tanks, Second place gets a choice of 1 tank (after 1st place player chooses).  (I'm a bit eager to give the rest of these codes out btw so I am hoping for a 3rd place but not making promises).

Good luck, and have fun!

The codes are good for either console platform.  The map is as you will.

I’m not artistically inclined, but if I have the time maybe I’ll give this a shot. Just gotta remember where I put my crayons...

If I put a cross through the entirety of the southwest sniping position on ghost town can that be a submission.

Sounds like a great contest, got a good idea (well I think it's good) just need to be able to put it down in a half decent way. Good luck all.

I already stuck my crayons up my nose, my pencils in my ear, and ate the silver goop out if the etch-a-sketch.

There is a court order that does not let me near crayons. This is going to be a tough contest.
“Greatness is a transitory experience. It is never consistent. It depends in part upon the myth-making imagination of humankind. The person who experiences greatness must have a feeling for the myth he is in. He must reflect what is projected upon him. And he must have a strong sense of the sardonic. This is what uncouples him from belief in his own pretensions. The sardonic is all that permits him to move within himself. Without this quality, even occasional greatness will destroy a man.”

Hi Gallant Prime:

I get "top view" and I think I've got a handle on 3-D-esque view.

(Actually drawing them is a different issue!)

However what are you looking for a `side view`?

And to start the paper trail for the development process, two words: St Nazaire.

Site of Operation Chariot - the British operation to disable the Normandie Dock.

The lock gates seems like a good spot for an encounter or assault base.

Lock is 50m x 350m so can be made to fit.

Maybe have a hull in drydock with some ramps going on and off...

Now where to have artillery positioned?

Hmm - did somebody just suggest the 6 fathom line? :-)

Stay tuned for further developments and even a picture or two (maybe 3!) :)

I'm impressed...multiple pencils in one ear seems quite difficult.

I don't care for winter variants much.  Now a jungle...but no.

Along the lines like in drafting.  A 3-D view would be more like the new arty mechanic--up in the air looking from an angle, while a side view is more like you are standing on the map at the edge looking across it.  The top and side would be more functional and the 3-D more artistic is my thoughts.

I’m very interested in this contest but am not young/smart enough to find a free map creating tool online. Can I actually send pics of of my crayon art? :child:

It won’t compare to the amazing looking entries here, but I’m too cheap to pay for an app that would prob not get used very much.

I can't freehand draw to save my life, but I do like your making this contest for those that can.

Cool idea!

I know everyone wants to do WW2 (or WW1) maps, but I've got an idea: Gettysburg. If you've been there, you know what I mean - lots of potential there.

Ft. Irwin would work too, ha. The 73rd Easting... I'm not sure another desert map sounds good.
