Ok guys, I know you have been waiting for the results and I am sorry for delaying.  This was a tough one as there were some really good ideas here, but without further ado, the winners are:

1)  YoungestBike679's Peenemuende

--The terrain, buildings, playability for all classes, the uniqueness of a launch pad, and historical references is what pushed this one to the top.

2)  Stuart Sherman's Northwoods Shoreline

--I really liked this one, though it is not as unique as the some others.  It seems to have a good mix of elements (forest, town, beach) and elevation, and was put together well.  Feels balanced with options and availability for all classes.  Reminds me of some of the U shaped maps from Halo days.  I want to change the name to Grand Haven though because Northwoods Shoreline is a mouthful.

As per the rules, YoungestBike679 has his pick of 2 tanks from:  (3) T-32 Proto, (2) Stark, (1) Skorpion G, and (1) Wojtek

Stuart Sherman then gets to pick one tank after that from my remaining stock.

Let me know what you want guys!

Congrats to all the winners!  Thank you to all the participants!

For those that did not win, please keep a look out for future contests, as I hope to do more.  I know USSWisconsin94 has inspired some ideas!

Hehe, you said 'ado'.

Anyways, congratulations to the winners! When I saw YoungestBike's entry, I pegged that to be the winner. Great concept and the historical references pushed it over the top for me too.

Thank you Gallant Prime for the contest and congrats to YoungestBike679. Love the Peenemuende map and gets my vote as well. :honoring:

Thanks Gallant Prime/All!

Was interesting trying to figure out what makes a playable map.

Disappointed that I couldn't make the St. Nazaire idea work but glad that Peenemunde made the grade!

Was surprised not to find simple software to create 3D terrain - please point me in right direction if you know of some.

As to the tanks, I'm looking forward to checking out siege mode in the Stark and creating general mayhem in the T32 Proto.

Thanks again!

Now where are my red crayons?

I always eat the red ones last. :)

Best Regards,

YB

Congrats again on the well thought out design. Got me thinking now about some other possibilities as well. Tobruk, or El Alamein maybe?  :honoring:

Skorpion G edges out Stark for me, but only just.

Thanks again Prime, and everyone.

Now where are the rest of those crayons. Blue ones first, mmmmmmmmm.

Messages with codes away!  Enjoy your tanks guys!  :playing:

I love red and blue as well, but the lemon-lime combo of green and yellow is tops for me!

Ah yes, to eat the blue crayon or the red crayon. The choice is yours! :)

I do however agree with your comment about the Skorpion G.

Was fortunate enough to win it a few contests ago so went with the Stark this time.

I think you'll enjoy the Skorpion - it hits hard and definitely leaves a mark!

Best Regards,

YB
