Because I honestly cannot see why and how this happened. It wasnt a massive leap or a jump, but I lost over half of my health for going a foot into the air.

“Greatness is a transitory experience. It is never consistent. It depends in part upon the myth-making imagination of humankind. The person who experiences greatness must have a feeling for the myth he is in. He must reflect what is projected upon him. And he must have a strong sense of the sardonic. This is what uncouples him from belief in his own pretensions. The sardonic is all that permits him to move within himself. Without this quality, even occasional greatness will destroy a man.”

Hi, I've had this explained to me before. If you hit a tree while off the ground, you will take damage. It's the tree not the ground that damaged you.

Reminded me of this: http://forum-console.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/208302-killed-by-tree/page__p__4283830__hl__+jannena77#entry4283830

Not exactly a new bug/feature it would seem.

Physics are an absolute joke in my opinion.

There is nothing wrong in physics, you just have to drive more carefully.

You can run over as many trees as you want and take no damage, because you're in a tank, but if you're airborne the tree suddenly becomes a Pz V/IV?

Bad physics are bad.

I'm not justifying it, I'm explaining why he took damage within the game parameters.

I wasn't insinuating that you were justifying anything.

I was just expounding on that it's dumb to have it that way, despite whatever has been explained to you.

I was in my Leopard I on Sand River once.  Drove over a Little Rock on the ground several times with no problem. Then I drove over a dune and got a tiny amount of air and hit the same rock. Lost half my HPs, my Driver, my Loader, and damaged my Ammo Rack and Engine.

I guess I hit a hidden anti-tank mine or something. :sceptic:

Small bumps on the road sends you flying as a light tank, lol, it's the "real physics", the worst of it all is when tanks push you against a wall, a boulder, rocks, etc, then they flip you over or push you up the wall, and then you're pretty much done.

To all the rookies, do not play lights, you have mostly small "war" maps that make your speed useless, your optics useless, your camo useless, your tank useless.

Oh and when you get a big open map the bad physics kick in to make your fast speeds the real enemy, once you hit a small bumb or rock, you are done, easy XP for the enemy team.

Real reason for all this, small maps are easier to balance, easier to create, less time employees take on tasks = more money for the company. So what if lights take the hit, after all WG wants you to gold spam at tier X with the big tanks, that's the end game, more gold spam more time and money you're going to spend on the game. Win :medal:
