I just received the personal offer for the T34/88 for 2050 gold.

Seems like a nice deal and when I encouter it on the field it seems like a good tank.
But I am curious about your experiences with this tank.

Very good deal and very good tank. Go for it, it's a solid, all around medium and can train both Soviet and German crews. Brilliant gun as well!

Just remember it doesn't get a silver bonus. And the pen values are not great, so you'll be using gold-rounds more than you'd like IMHO

It's not got a silver bonus, but a higher XP bonus (Including Free xp) and crew training bonus. It's pen is only 132 (all other L56 88mm are 145) yet this doesn't really hurt the tank. It's a very good vehicle and teh 1st duel nation crew trainer

This. It's an excellent crew trainer as well.

Good trainer, Bipolar behavior, once spotted you get everyone focus because of it's legendary status despite being out of being one of the most broken/OP tanks of it's Tier as it had the gun nerf forbidden (while the Citadel, H.T. no 6, Tiger 217, etc. had it, as long as more armor and more hitpoints.)

Now it's just like a regular T-34-85 with dual training capabilities and less penn.

Some might say i'm not constructive enough... Too bad i'm actually a deconstructivist

One of my favorite premiums to play. My only issue is that the gun trolls you quite frequently. I'd definitely recommend it if you have the means.

Is it good? Yes.

Is it that good? Not any more.

But as others said earlier you can't get cheaper dual trainer at that tier (and very efficient free xp collector). Only better dual trainer deal would be CKV-1 for 1250 gold when you finish War Story (don't remember which one thou), but it's tier V tank.

If I were to have only one tank to train Soviet and German crews, it would probably be the T-34-88.

That's why it's my most played tank on PS4.  It's also a good part of the reason why I have dark purple stats on PS4.

Got this offer yesterday and snapped it up.

Very good tank, 88L56 gun with decent mobility. My advice is buy it.

It's very good. Often, you will dominate. Like others have said, you will be tempted to fire premium rounds. I think my loadout includes 10 APCR, and I typically fire them all (versus Tier VI-VIII) before switching to regular AP. Versus some Tier V targets (like the V/IV) you may also want to shoot them with APCR just to dispatch them more quickly. I never cared that the T 34 88  lacks silver bonus -- it performs so well, it's fun to play and still rather easy to turn a small profit.

Why do they continue to sell rare tanks. It just makes it less rare -_-

WG dictionary - Rare = not available all the time. Not to be confused with Rare - Something not commonly found.

Great tank. I don't play it like I used to but every time I do take it out, it is fun. The XP makes it a nice dual-trainer, as mentioned. For making silver, it is fairly bad, since you do sometimes need prammo. For the price, it is a great buy as a personal offer.

I got one for the Krupp Streyr and may get it. I have debated that thing for quite a while. Consensus seems to be that it is mediocre but I like stealthy, glass TDs lol.

You have to ask?

I asked an EOD man how he dealt with the stress of his job.

He said he didn’t have any stress. Either he was right or else it became someone else’s problem.

Hello,

If I had to buy five tanks, the T34-88 would be on that list.

It's dual crew, got a nice crew xp bonus and is really efficient on the battlefield.

For me I just bought the bog horror because it is also on the list : 67% silver bonus is quite a rare quality !

I won't be spending lot of gold on this game bc poor guy, but I want to make the max of my investment.

It feels like buying assets of the pixel world. Those tanks give you more than you would think in silver + crew xp + free xp after investing that gold into it. Bog Horror is better than Gorynich by 17% regarding silver bonus multiplier.

If you do okay or well in the T-34-85, then sure: get for a trainer, and for the fun.    If you do poorly in those, or don't like them, you will not get the advantages of its bonuses.
