T-34-88 gun penetration nerfed? If so, I have a beef with WG!

I also have noticed my favorite tank not performing well in the last few weeks.  I know...whine whine whine.  Except, I paid REAL MONEY for this tank.  Nerf tech tree tanks, fine.  But premiums that cost real world money...not sure that's legal.  I purchased a product as advertised....and then the company lowers the quality of the product AFTER I purchased it?  Seriously...is this legal?  I now don't have what I paid for.

Do you have the stats from when you got it and current stats to compare perhaps?

I'm curious to see the difference then

Hello, the tank has not been nerfed. The last week, we did adjust the game mechanics so maybe that's something you noticed? https://console.worldoftanks.com/en/news/loaded-dice-event

It's 100% legal, look at the EULA  (TLDR Version, you're paying to be able to use the tank, you never owned it)

However that said, WG don't tend to nerf Premiums for reasons you mentioned, dispite the fact that MANY players feel that there are numerous Premium tanks that could do with a nerf.

They can change whatever they want (buff/nerf) about a tank whether you purchased it with real money or fake in game money. You agreed to it when you created an account. Maybe read the EULA next time you make an account for something?

But no, the T-34-88 has never had a nerf of any kind. It's penetration is different to other tanks with the 88 L/56 because the other tanks received a buff about 2-3 years ago. A buff that was not given to the T-34-88 at the time because it didn't need it (it still doesn't, aim for weakspots and you'll pen just fine).

There was an even last week (ended yesterday morning) where penetration RNG was set to 0% (normally +/-25%).

The T-34-88 is the same, its just been power creeped a bit. I would love to see it get the pen buff of the other tier VI 88 L/56 tanks, but then it might become borderline op again.

Premium tanks are not and should not be exempt  from nerfs.

It is a junk tank. Good luck with it. The accuracy, aim time, ap pen, and shell velocity are garbage.  I would happily trade a little better gun handling for a little less mobility.

The tank's short comings become very obvious when battling against tier 8 tanks.

:D You gotta be kidding, man. Going against tier VIII's Swindle rounds™ are more than capable of dealing damage and mobility allows you to flank and stay alive. It's a fantastic tank no matter the tier.

Yes they can and it's perfectly legal. Even Apple does it with physical products. Ever wanted to be able to get your newest iPhone repaired, good luck because Apple will try to force you to buy a new one.

It's not nerfed, just didn't get penetration buff as others short 88mm gun german tanks.

I am serious. My loadout is mostly APCR because the AP cannot pen a wet paper bag.  It feels like I have to run a crew with 8-10 skills minimum for it to feel playable. It is even the tank I earned a Radley's...But that was because I went up one flank and caught a lot of tier 5 Swede TD's from behind. Sure it can be a monster when top tier...but then falls on its face when facing 8s.

I would rather play the Tiger I facing tier 9's, then make this joke of an 88 work on against 8's.

Legally speaking, all tanks that were purchased before the cluf is changed are not subject to this. This being said, WG behaves correctly with the premium tanks, they avoid as much as possible to modify them in one way or another. Then if your tank before CLUF had a buff and you have not challenged it .... it cancels your right to challenge a nerf afterwards.

You have to agree to the EULA before you finish making your account and are allowed to play the game for the first time. You can't buy any tanks before agreeing to the EULA.

It has been modified there may be a little more than 1 year.
