I had a match where a challenger was able to shoot an E75 from his Team twice and killed him.

How is this possible at all? I tried it in the next match by my own, but thanks god, I was not able to damage one of the greens.

For a moment I was shocked and thought they have implemented friendly fire with the update today.

But how can this then happen:

You could see as well a different color when the E75 got shot and on the left side the proof that

red Challenger killed the red E75, very strange.

Team damage is enabled against Team Killers. Team Killers turn Blue which means anyone can shoot them. (The replay seems to not show the blue status)

Thank you Max for the reply and explanation.

I know this for blue players. I´ve checked the full Replay again and it looks like the E75 has touched the Challenger shortly before and the Challenger fall down a border and got damaged, but not destroyed and E75 turned not into blue. Could this be still enough to allow friendly fire?

Here is the scene again from the E75 perspective:

Haha, I like how the Challenger requested the E75 to follow him :izmena:

Any Team Damage you do adds, up, once you do enough Team Damage you turn blue. A single tank only getting damaged isn't enough for them to turn blue, so the E75 would have to have existing team damage accumulated from another tank/previous match to cause the damage to make him turn blue.

I don't think you see the blue of the other team.  You are seeing it from the green side so they all look red.  I'm guessing that guy looked blue from the "red" perspective.

20k battles in, never turned blue and i had my fair share of pushing/being pushed by teammates etc. I think thus far the blue status mechanic works pretty well because from what i have seen only those with ill intentions turn blue. But... weird stuff happends once in a blue moon.

3 MOE: IS-6 - Aufkl Panther - Tiger 131 - Jackson - Pz.V/IV.

One teammate drove their light tank into my heavy at about a 45 degree angle right near those canals in Heilbronn. Light tank bounced off me then jumped curb and went into water. I did not drive counter to his direction, did not push back. It happened so fast there wouldn't even have been time to react if I wanted to. I got tagged for friendly fire.

First time I saw it was this past weekend. 2 platooned players must have gotten into a positioning argument ended with the light tank driver T-boning a non-turreted TD and pushing him in the water. The light then drowned himself with a -1 standing.  Just brilliant

So, let me get this straight, if we have some noob on the team that thinks it's cool to shoot everyone on his team as we are leaving spawn, this person could turn blue if they hit enough friendly tanks?

I wonder how many people do not realize this....

No. You have to do team damage, I.E. Pushing your teammates off cliffs.

Can pushing a teammate from behind cover as retaliation so that they get shot and killed by the opposing team be considered team killing as well?  I only ask because i had that happen to me last week and have the name of the person who did it and proof if that helps.

Hello, that is physics abuse and can be reported to Customer Support to have the player banned. You'll need a video of the match from start until death. :honoring:

I actually made a clip from the replay where i have the camera set on my tank, but have the direction pointed at him the entire time.  And the video goes from me starting the replay till about 30 seconds after i died from him pushing me from cover.  It’s is on my profile.
