So what's the word on the VC Firefly?

Worth getting?

It’s a Boilermaker with different aesthetics and minute stats changes. If you have the Boilermaker already, it’s probably not worth the buy unless you are a M4 fan.

Actually broke down and got it today.  Definitely an M4 fan, but it's also definitely worth getting.  Runs like a champ and packs quite a wallop.  It's a little bit faster and has more get up and go than the Boilermaker.  It also felt more maneuverable to me.  Still has the same gun, reload speed, and armor as the Boilermaker, though.

I can't wait to get it but I'm gonna wait for the base bundle:coin:

I bought mine today and am in a very bad mood about it. Now I knew ahead of time about this and still bought it because I am a Sherman collector but the saggy tracks are really getting me down. They just look awful. I am hoping that WG will fix this but they need to fix it on both the Jackal and the Firefly Vc. Love how everything else looks on it though.

I noticed that as well.  Definitely needs fixing.  The tank itself is about what one would expect.  I do like the improved accuracy though.

If you want to be one of the 47 Ronin check out our recruitment post and then send a message to Prof935 (xbox) or dimka935 (ps4).

I haven't been a real big fan of the Boilermaker lately. The gun has been trolling me so terribly lately. Plus the lack of gun depression isn't that great either. But I will not sell it. Love the way it looks.

I love my boilermaker.  Today i noticed with a green crew it can be very unforgiven without bia and a few other skills.  Still a favorite tank of mine.

I think you are absolutely correct. I have been using a green crew lately with only Mentor currently. Very close to having BiA.

I finally added permanent camo to my Boilermaker during this sale (and free gold from a War chest that was won).

The Boilermaker is one of the best looking tanks on the game.

3 MOE's: VK 30.01D (VI), T-34 (V), M-24 Chaffee (V)

2 MOE's: Indien-Panzer (VIII), T-20 (VII), Cromwell B (VI), Snakebite (VI), T-37 (VI), M4 Sherman w/Derp (V), VK 16.02 Leopard (V)

It looks good in solid desert yellow.  Also centennial is for me my fave to just look at.

I haven't seen a single one in game yet.

I think that says it all.

I'll stick with my free boilermaker!

Just make sure you’re always the first to shoot and kill the Citadel Tiger!! (For historical accuracy)

Actually the Citidel Tiger is an early Tiger I and not the type W-mann was in when he got smacked.

Model number aside, I was under the impression that the tank in game was modeled after the one he drove.

Yup, default desert camo color for all of my Brit tanks.  Similar scheme for my German tanks as well.....

It is loosely based on the one he commanded at Kurst. He was in 007 (not his actual tank but one he borrowed) when he died at Normandy which was a Befehlstiger (Command Tiger).

It is a mighty fine looking tank! I have been waiting for the firefly vc to come out on console for ages now and will definitely grab the base bundle. Considering trading the boilermaker in as the play styles will be so similar and I doubt I will play both that much. I do like the look of the boilermaker though and might just hang on to it foe aesthetic reasons. What do you all think?
