One of the bullets show the Cross Play thing. Nobody knows whether that will be in regular games or special modes.

So Sony caves on cross play so to make up for it they decide to take Spider-Man and go home. Sounds about right for them.

Hi Max,

 

I've watched the live stream, and the guy on stage announced cross play for PS4 and Xbox.  It's coming.  It's not a "we're working on it" kind of of statement like WGCB have been making for the last few years.  It's now confirmed to be coming to WoWSL, though with no timeframe announced.  You guys need to get working on this, or be honest and admit the reasons why you're not being allowed to do this.

I speak German.  He did say they are working on it.  He said they don't know exactly when, but they are trying (versuchen) to get it by the end of the year.  Then he adds, "Aber, er kommt!" - "But, it's coming!"

We know they don’t have it at this very moment, but they have to be in the final stages of a cross play agreement already or they wouldn’t have made it part of their presentation. It would have been silly to mention it if it wasn’t close to being a done deal.

Will this statement still hold up when they get. Crossplay? You guys are so secretive and hide so much that it shouldn't be surprising people don't believe you. The secrecy is harmful to your reputation and just leads to people not trusting you. I can't presume to know how to run a multi million dollar company or a dev studio but I know what makes trust someone and constant lies aren't it.

The guy on stage said clearly in English that cross play between Xbox and PS4 was coming. Not that they're working on it, not that they're waiting for permission, but that it's coming. You may want to have your development mangers contact theirs because this was a very clear announcement of cross play.

 

Perhaps they got permission but didn't share that with your office. Or maybe they're lying. But they very clearly announced cross play with a big banner that said "PS4 XPLAY Xbox"

The live presentation tone is a much more different tone than the one sentence in the article posted on Reddit/FB/Discord.
