less turret armor

longer reload

longer aim time

higher ground resistance

The M48's turret is vastly superior to the CAX's turret, the terrain resistance difference is completely negated (plus some) by the Chisel's better power to weight ratio, and while the CAX does have a better aiming time and better DPM both are very minuscule advantages (a 0.2 second faster aiming time and barely 50 better damage per minute).

No luck eh, I disagree.

High Caliber:

Cause the highest damage per battle without hitting/ramming a friendly vehicle. Damage must be at least 20% of the total HP of enemy vehicles. Caused damage should be at least 1,000 HP.

Apart from the fact that I dont have the skills/ability to get the damage portion of the medal, every single game someone bumps me or I bump them or drives infront of one of my shots. Winning this medal is absolutely based on luck.

Putting this medal in the contract is an epic fail on War Gamings part.

Don't "nuke" it as we say it in the Navy. I.e. dont over think it. They'll happen. T37 is a good light tank to get one. I've managed it in the T29, T32(I think), M4 Shermans, I think even the Lycan. Not many mind you but they tend to just happen sometimes. You just manage to do everything right and bam High Caliber medal.

I don’t know why the gave it such a good top speed, expected the gun handling to be better as well.

Higher top speed because the Chisel is 3,627 pounds lighter then the CAX. With the same power train as the CAX. So yeah it is going to have a higher top speed. But the ground resistance is worst so getting to that top speed is going to take as long or longer.

It will take some time... but eventually I’ll get 2 HC medals as my current average in these tanks is about 1 HC per 50-ish battles. So this tank will cost me like 100-150 battles for Stage 5 in maybe a week of frustration if I have time and nerves to play.
Don't rush me, I'm waiting for the last moment!

The more direct comparison is to the Patton since all of these tanks are hull down tanks. It has better gun depression, way better mobility, better camo (and better than the AX too), worse DPM, worse hull armor, more accuracy, worse aim time (decent dispersion? idk), and a comparable premium round. Essentially you are trading a bit of DPM and gun dispersion (I assume) for a lot of mobility and a bit more accuracy which seems like a pretty good deal honestly. The extra camo with the 420m view range will also be nice for the tank. It looks very good and I will be grinding mine ASAP. On a side note, it looks pretty balanced, similar to The Machine, good but not overpowered. The chassis components are very good together but the tradeoff is in the DPM. The Machine's tradeoff is also in the gun. Can you imagine a Machine with this gun or any other decent 400 alpha gun? It would actually be OP in that case
