I encourage everyone. The Chisel tank is excellent. It deserves the effort!

pues personalmente empiezo a dudar si vale la pena... la cantidad de fallos con retícula cerrada me abruma...  y los rebotes locos ya ni te cuento...

Completed the contract this morning.

As this was my first completion of a tier ten Mercenary Contract, my overall experience was very good. I attempted the Sharpshooter previously but could not complete the High Caliber with light tanks I see this requirement has been modified so I mat attempt this one next go around. The stages were well conceived and stage five had the right amount of difficulty to make it challenging and engaging.  Stage 8  was simply an XP grind but not insurmountable, it was enough cost to make the end goal have value.

I was able to complete the American Heavy Tank Tree and add a few tanks along journey,an M103 and T110E5 on the American tree, and the FV4202 and Action X for the Brits.

Picked up two tier eight premium tanks in the War Chests. Completed Hellcat 105. Completed the 10 OP's for the no charge 279e, made a boat load of silver.

The weekend bonus silver made playing tens profitable and I did not need to play eights to replenish the funds.

Started on  27 of August completed on the 18 October (53 days)

7 Days for Stages 1-5
7  Days for Stage 6

14 Days to complete Stage 7

25 days to complete Stage 8 with 11 eligible tanks

I am glad to have this done, but I am pleased with the challenge, the rewards and value. Well done War Gaming

I agree it’s a good contract 200k into stage 8.
I got the American mediums to T10 as well as the British.
I am now concentrating on getting 1st class or better in the eligible heavies of which I have a mediocre record in. Finally figured out the S Conq, honest couldn’t figure out why I was crap in this tank when I was so good in the Conq...

Lol, had two High Calibre in a row with my Cent AX recently. Wasted though, since I am already at stage 8 of the contract.

Well I'm close to completing stage 8 - about 35k to go.

After initial concerns about stage 5 criteria, remainder of contract has been a grind but many positives: I already had the full line of American mediums and heavies but I've managed to grind out all the British mediums and heavies - they are all great tanks and really don't know why I've given them a miss up until now (probably because I didn't think their hull armour was good enough to be competitive, but their turret armor and gun handling more than make up for it).  The Centurion 7/1, Action X and FV4202 are now firm favourites of mine. Super Conq is also a very good tank.

Out of all the eligible tanks for stage 8, (15 tanks) I was only missing the sharpshooter, so completing daily doubles would net me about 35k xp.  Not that I was able to do that each night - sometimes I would only be able to manage a couple of games each night due to not having time.  All the eligible tanks are great EXCEPT for the T54E1 - I suck when playing that one, reload is just too long, tank is too slow, etc, so would leave it till last for daily double.

Looking forward to the Chisel and playing TDs, Lights and Arty for a change.

I'm not a terrible player but not great. I'm not interested in MOEs etc. - I play a tank and move on to the next (better free xp/less boredom) - plus I ply for a few hours in the evining off and on.

The high calibre... In the new tier 10 one I gave up. Mediums aren't made for that...

This one, I had to use the banshee - and not shoot at anyone - to get the spotting one. Sometimes high tier matches are your friend.

High calibre, i've managed one so far. one. In the Black prince.

I've had some 5-6k damage games but in tier 10 everyone is so greedy, it's difficult. It feels like you're playing the same people over and over in the same tanks.

I can't get the British heavies pumping enough damage out. Advice?

What did you figure out? I have it unlocked, however I purchased the two Brit mediums instead. I have been thinking about the purchase but not enough silver for the S Conqueror.

For those annoyed by the Stage 5 criteria, let me just tell you this: don’t ever give up! I finally got all 8 of the spotting criteria and GOOD LORD the satisfaction and happiness was immense!

The spotting on stage 5 is the only I think needs changed. Mediums and are not scouts. I want to know what WG was smoking when they came up with adding it to the contract.

I think this might be a question of adapting the playstyle. I had the spotting completed long before the XP or kills requirements. I went to agressive location, but then did not took unnecessary risk to take shots, only poking out to keep the enemy spotted... with the excellent view range of the American medium, it was really easy to accumulate crazy amount of assisted damage (of course, sometimes it can be frustrating as the green team is usually incapable of using their gun). Apart from the American mediums, the FV4202 works great because of it's mobility and good turret, I had a game with >6k assist.

Do you have the American T57?  It is one of the best tanks to achieve the high caliber medals. I have over a 100 of them on that tank alone.

For stage 5,  use the T69 with optics and a camo net find a high perch and spot but don't shoot. the tank has some decent speed and is only 1350 hit points.

Having to compete with friendly light tanks and dealing with enemy artillery make it almost impossible. I got 3 out the 8 after 6 hours.

I completed stage 5 with the FV4202 P. I had good luck playing early in the mornings when there are less players playing when trying to achieve the 2 high calibers. Halfway through stage 8 now after 2 weeks but I only have the Sheridan and the T49 that qualify for the contract, long painful grind.
