Hello everyone. Me again, this time back with a review of the Russian tier 7 premium the T-VI-100. I pondered for quite a while before buying as I already have the Hammer and 131 (not to mention the Citadel down at T6). This made me think that I bet other players are as unsure about whether to add this to their collection. Therefore, whilst the tank is on a personal offer this week for 3700 gold, I thought I'd get a quick review up with my thoughts.

In summary

Pros:

Looks beautiful

Extra damage per shot is great, plus I find it sets things alight really easily, hence the review name ;)

Best traverse and signal range values for any tiger 1

Cons

Weaker engine than top tech tree package

Lower accuracy

Reduced penetration

That being said, their are some real Tiger fanatics on this forum and if you are one of them, why don't you add your thoughts on whether this tank is a keeper below?

I've had mine for a while now.  Decent tank in my opinion.  Not necessarily one that I'd go out of my way to get unless you like to collect Tigers as I do

All we need now is the autoloading Czech Tiger.

Please WG.

Cons

Reduced penetration

It has better pen than the tech tree Tiger, not reduced.

And before anyone says anything, I only shoot APCR out of my Tigers.

Almost bought it, sort of regret that I didn't but opted for the filthy fun of the Dreadnought. Next time!

Understood, but for those who don't want to/can't afford to spam gold it is 13 less pen on standard ap so it is accurate to say it has less pen

I like mine well enough but then again I like most all of the Tiger's I own. It's really just a Tiger that you can use Soviet crews in with a slight gun adjustment. Of course not anything truly unique (other than its console exclusive) but really if I had to choose between it or the Dreadnought the latter is far more hilarious to use and sees the same opponents. Its just scarier for even the Tier IX's as it can shave off 1/3-1/2 of their health with its lovely HEAT shells

I've enjoyed it. The best start I've had with any tank. It works for me. I don't know why.

Probably has better module damage (100mm rounds

,then orginal German 88mm rounds).

I own both now but I'd have to say I probably agree with you both. In terms of boom for your buck if your looking for a premium Soviet t7 heavy then I'd say go with the Dreadnought based on simple joy to play and uniqueness. That being said, the kv2 requires patience and will let you down if you're too aggressive whereas the t-vi-100 can be a bit more versatile. It might thereore be a better choice for players who prefer a faster flanking style of gameplay. Equally, if you can afford it, I'd recommended just getting both as they each are very different to the standard soviet heavies (e.g. the kv3/4 and is lines).

Yeah that's very true and the VI-100 doesn't get focus fired like a Dreadnought because well everyone is scared to get hit by it so you can't be as aggressive especially due to the slow reload of a Dreadnought. I guess really its more of a semi-TD with a turret than a front line heavy whereas you can top tier do some heavy stuff with a T-VI-100 if you have to. But yah I'd agree if you can; get both. they are equally enjoyable just in different ways.
