Yep. A two tiger II platoon can really dish out the hurt.

Increase in alpha dmg would draw longer reload rate as a consequence. Tiger as it is now is flexible heavy with great gun handling, I would keep it as it is. Basically E50 is TIger II on steroids. Although now E50 is just a shadow of its former self.

Thats the problem with substance abuse. Sure it is great the first few times, but man, once the craving hits and you are out....its only down hill from there.

Lol, not sure if you disagree about E50 being worse than it used to be before they've massacred it, but that's exactly what happened there.

I was making a joke about steroids. I was great when it was all buffed, but as soon as wg took the roids away, man oh man, it fell HARD.

I'm amazed ppl. say it's overbuffed, the gun handling is great, the alpha and dpm not.
And what's about the somewhat useless armor?
Almost every tier 8 tank with at least ~ 190mm penetration goes through youre turret and lower plate.

One of the most accurate guns on a tier 8 heavy
When properly angled, some of the best armour on a tier 8 heavy
fairly mobile
Um, no. It doesn't need a buff.

You can angle the tank all day and still everyone with 190mm + pen is going through the turret, 122+mm caliber overmatches the roof and the lower plate is weak, even angled.

It's also one of the most mobile tanks in its class. Has a crazy accurate gun, good penetration.
If you angle the Armour holds up fine, don't forget you can sidescrape too.
Just be careful of anyone with a 122+ as they can overmatch the turret roof.
I played a game in mine yesterday, 3k damage blocked and a Steel Wall. Armour is fine if you use it right.

I disagree.
The armour holds up well.
Obviously if tier 10s are firing at you, you wont bounce.
But tier for tier the armour is just as good as the IS-3, in fact at times, even better.
I think only the IS-M has better armour tier for tier.
the Tiger 2 is a great tank and those that struggle with it will continue to struggle with the E-75 and E-100 respectively.
It teaches you how to angle the excellent german armour.

It has more than enough side armor for sidescraping.
Just my two cents, the Tiger II is one of the best tier VIII heavies in the game. As others have already stated its gun is great, it has surprisingly good mobility, and its armor holds up very well in many situations (especially when top tier). I will admit that it isn't as good as whe T32 (mostly because of its fantastic turret armor) and some premium heavies (like the 252U, T26E5, Paladin, etc.), but it's still a very good heavy tank that is sadly overshadowed by the E75 after it.

It's far from the best Armour in the tier. Nameless, AMX M4 49, Kirovets-1, 252u all have better and that's just naming a handful.
But what the Tiger II has in combination with the Armour is good mobility and an amazing gun.
If you want to bring up bad heavies in the tier look at the Tiger II's same tier sibling the VKa. Worse Armour, worse mobility, worse gun.

I think tanks with the pike nose to have worse overall armour.
It's true the turret of the 252u is far superior, but hiding the rest of the tank is a chore due to the pike nose.
The m4 49's armour is negated by the massive commander's hatch.
The Nameless is terrible and shouldn't even be spoken about in any way shape or form. No one plays it.
The Kirovets has good armour and a tank I've always wanted because it doesn't have a pike nose.
So fair enough comparison but I tend not to compare premium tanks with TT ones due to the on going power creep p/w aspect of new premium tanks.
Strictly speaking about the TT.
Perhaps the IS-M and the turret of the T32 obviously.
But if you factor in the hull of the T32, i'd rather have the hull of the Tiger 2 and it's sidescraping ability.
Perhaps it's my pension for sidescraping that makes me dig the Lowe, Tiger 2, and the IS-M so much.
Let me be perfectly frank, though. I'm not saying the Tiger 2 is OP. I am merely stating it doesn't need a buff.
I think it's in a good spot and it sets you up well for the OP E-75 (pls nerf why did you buff it wg seriously lol) and the still decent E-100
