i just got this tank and i am wondering if there is even a point in using standard ammo.

with 219 average pen on a tier 9 heavy, should i just go full premium ammo?

thank you for the help :)

Play it the same as a T-54. I use 50% of my Ammo as HEAT. It's unfortunate but with 120 pen ish difference, it was made that way.

50/50 is probably about right.  Low pen is the bane of many mercenary tanks.

If you want to be one of the 47 Ronin check out our recruitment post and then send a message to Prof935 (xbox) or dimka935 (ps4).

I think I've like 16 HEAT, 6 HE and the rest normal AP. But, I've once ran out of HEAT, especially when you have to face tier x superheavies. So I think I'd go with 20 HEAT rounds.
