We can try again tomorrow. I had enough of arty, crap teams, lag, bad RNG and complaining for one sitting.

Besides, after ammo-racking a full health Badger by hitting him with an AP shell from from across the map, I didn't get a shred of hate mail. That's unacceptable.

Playing arty and not getting death threats, is like driving a Ferrari and only getting looks from dudes. Later.

Once you left Fusion and i had some great games

But thanks anyway. Least we tried. I'll give it a go a bit today as well. also. Sad i didn't have a mic. that would've helped a lot.

Few hours later platooning with M4 and Fusion and still only 1 part of 8 of it. Lots of fun. Had some "fun" games but overall. Once again WG doesn't understand that doing missions based on SPOTTING ONLY DOESN'T WORK When you have 4+ others on your team trying to do the same goddamn thing. It just doesn't work WG. Pls change this.

I got it in four matches worth of assists with classy. Too bad I was on stage three. So none of it counted. I have to say, buying the FV4502 was a good idea. I get to push and spot really well. Its no E50m, but it will suffice for the time being.

I got a few at tier X but found that swapping out my coated optics for binos on my Beach Party and Sharpshooter and bush camping/ridge poking was more effective.

Also staying alive to spot in the late game is really important especially if you have arty support.

While correct, tracking the object of desire will help in getting spotting damage points. In essence, give your team a juicy target to prioritise over others.

Spotting and tracking assistance damage have been tracked separately for quite some time. This op specifies 'spotting' damage.

If you track something, any damage dealt to it while it's tracked counts as tracking assist damage even if your also the one spotting it.

Tomorrow looks good to platoon but tbh. not sure i wanna go for it anymore as things have NOT been working out trying to get it. once again WG really knows how to be "SPESHUL" and ruin the experience for missions. Yay.

Fusion and M4ntiX were my partners in arty spotted assist crime. Big help. Managed to snag my 2nd High Caliber a couple of hours ago solo. So... hello, Stage 6!!

I won't mind lending my arty services for a few folks.

The fist of righteousness is always willing to help. So much fun. Six shots, over 7k damage. What is there not to love.

Well, when we play, someone always has to be the sacraficial lamb. You just happend to be it this time. Reminds me of a match with your czech tier nine. You died in the first minute to secure out our victory. One of us always gets the short end of the stick, its the away of the fusion of the joco and the wooo clan. Think of it as playing russian roulette with a nagant revolver. At least two chambers are loaded while five remain open (weird russians and their seven shot revolver). So one or two of us will get shafted to ensure the platoon lives on. You should know that by now. I will throw myself into the maw if it means we can win. Think of it as for the greater good. Or as that one squad mate that jumps on the grenade to save everyone else.

On stage 4 doing the spotting but I am only getting 500 a battle .....stage 5 will be horrendous ffs

If you're still on stage 4, then use Fury / E8 or Banshee / Comet if you have them. Saves competing with 8-10s all the time doing stage 5.

While the above options are all true, you forgot one major thing that really helps.

Track as many targets as possible. The assisnt isnt just for spots. A major chunk can be had by simply tracking a tank at the most opportune time.

If you do not have platoon mates who can arty for you, TD work really well. One 183mm can almost get you that assisted damage in one shot if you are playing a medium.

U See wrong! Ive done 2.4k spoting and tracking dmg in my patton 46 and it dont count on Stage 5

I'm surprised WG did this again after promising NOT to do it after all the hate they received on the Sharpshooter contract. The selection of Tier 8s tanks for the Op are just not competitive to get the spotting or high caliber; Again WG has designed an Op that frustrates and is not FUN.

We may have to do what we did to get the Sharpshooter, play in the middle of the night EU time on the EU server and get a 6 v 6 battle.....
