It seems every time I get Prok now most of my team camps in a corner. This happens mostly on North spawn. They drive across the river and sit in the A B/9 0 area. Then they proceed to sit there and attempt to "snipe" while the enemy steam roll the hill. It doesn't matter which tank class they are in it seems as I have seen them all do it. What is the deal?

It’s called people still not knowing how to play the game.  They get confused without corridors to lemming into and so cluster somewhere and try to snipe as they don’t know how to maneuver in the open.

I don’t know how to act my age! I’ve never been this old before!

Agree, while it's not good to go to an area alone if everyone goes to lem in one area try to spot and inform teammates of red team flanking, if no one help outs then count it as a loss :)

But artillery punishes camping.

Can’t beat them, join them. If you see that happening, do what you can or simply jump into another match. There is no point getting frustrated or wasting your time. If you have a contract for a tank to finish, it’s pointless staying in a match like you described. Staying to fight the good fight will most likely get you a little xp ,if you yolo or bail out. You can get into a hopefully better match and earn much more xp.

Most people don't have tactical view to the map and they don't know how the spotting mechanism work.  Some fear artillery and think that if they sit back of the map and snipe they are safe, but only place that gives cover from artillery are buildings in village at E-F / 7-9.  If you go there, try not to destroy buildings as they protect you from artillery shells and sniper fire.

I used to hate prok.

NowI love prok but often hate the teams I get on that map.

You think potatoes who camp the red line will actually be able to hit anything to make that spotting worth it? Lol. He would just get yolod by 2-3 reds while the 10 greens on that hill sit there picking their noses and drooling at PewDiePie videos.

That’s often exactly the problem, players play so far back that by the time they can shoot it’s too late and they have no cover.

Prok is vision and position.

At the very least the campers would get spotted before the river could get rushed. Giving you a chance to lay down some fire while they soak up the enemy fire. It can be a powerful position when used properly

If youre not making the best of bad situations this game isnt going to be very fun.

Bad players are used to getting crapped on whenever they push so they camp.  Most of the time they get crapped on anyway, occasionally the enemy blunders into their position and they have a good game.  Happens on every map, their cowardice is just more noticeable on Prok where the enemy can shoot you from almost any angle.

Nothing worse than heavies that sit up there doing nothing. While four enemies sit on the other side of the hill sniping the middle.

People have already said it. No corridors so they must think and thinking and playing is too much to ask.
