I really thought there would be much more buzz and chatter here for the new mapbuilder project coming (soon) No wish lists? No "they'll mess it up anyway"? I am personally pretty excited for this. Although I am also afraid my thoughts will be in the minority and we wind up with another version of icebound or something I hate to play on.

I wasn’t aware of this. It sounds promising. Keeping my fingers crossed.

All was said and done in the couple threads they were created the day they put the new. I personally prefer to not play WG's own game and create hype from smoke and lights.

Some might say i'm not constructive enough... Too bad i'm actually a deconstructivist

Just a little bit ago it was announced that there could be no more new maps because the game had reached some kind of size limit.  So I’m not sure what good a community designed map will do if it can’t be added to the game. Unless it takes the place of one of the most hated maps, but the odds of one of those being pulled is remote.

Unless this means that the limiting factor has been changed or the reason is finally being dropped?

Maps are already being rotated in and out of use with the weekly updates.  This would add another to the collection.

Where have you found this tin-foil hat theory of yours? They are not rotating maps.

I'd be in favour of removing Icebound, Ardennes, or both permanently in order to make room for even just 1 community designed map.

we really should remove maps. but seems some people don't like the idea of removing bad maps. Icebound isn't one of them if they would lower all the snow in it. but ardennes can die in a fire.

Will WG ever have WoT offline like they promised?
