Can anyone remember if in previous years we could put a crew from any nation in an 'awakened' tank? Or if they were nation specific?
If WG could answer the question for this year's event, that would be great

I believe they were nation specific. Last year rather than just have a monster tanks (owned) simply come to life for the event they added duplicates of each so we had to manually move our crew from our regularly used monster tank to the awakened one for the event. This way, I have my better crews in their respective monsters for the event.

If I remember correctly, I believe you can use the spectre event tank with any nation crew?

That's a shame, i was wanting to run a Merc crew in the 'Awakened' premium's i have, i'm not sure i'll want to use the Spectre.
I wonder if the KV-5 will be the best trainer again this year, time will tell.
