Why Chimera's silver bonus is so low? Almost all tier 8 premiums have 50% silver bonus or higher. I could understand that if it had amazing crew xp bonus or something but it doesn't. Could someone from WG explain that why it's only 30%?

Personal i think they went too far with the look. Bloody look stupid. But hey i ain't buying them and have no worries about the bonuses.

I'm not gonna buy it either, I'm just curious why it has so low silver bonus competed to other tier 8 premiums. FYI, I kinda like it the way it looks... yes, it is ridiculous but for some odd reason I kinda like it. At least it's 100 times better looking than some other premiums, like King Dragon Type 59 or Stark S1.

Think the bonuses get a mention in that thread

I'll get the unskinned Chimera and Centurion 5/1 when they come out as I've been waiting for the 5/1 for ages, couldn't stomach the Halloween versions especially to drive them post Halloween.

I agree regarding the Halloween versions... such a shame. Perhaps if this was the look during the Halloween season and then reverted to a Spartan helmet or Lion logo/ plaque any other time? The other Halloween versions started with outrageous paint jobs and have steadily gotten more over  the top (great 3D rendering, but too much in your face for my liking and I consider myself to be a tank collector- sad but true). It should be 'doable', as I only noticed  today that the Höllenhound had the skulls removed from the barrel like they were never there (or were they?) Perhaps they were considered offensive...

I get your point but have you noticed that this Halloween variant of Chimera has much better turret armor? It has 50mm spaced armor covering the front of the turret. Very nice, especially if enemy is firing HEAT at you :)

I agree, I think the Wraith and now these last two look ridiculous. Saw a Chimera in a match and it looks even worse than I thought it would. I'll wait until next Halloween to win one of them and then the next Halloween the other and so on and so forth. I will seriously consider the unskinned versions though. Especially the 5/1.

They look stupid, completely agree.

I think with the Mercs stuff the game really lost their way and these ridiculous looking tanks are no more silly than the Mercs ones with stupid bolted on spaced armour that bounces APCR etc.

I don't mind the look but I do think the low silver earning is a major negative for this tank. Tier 8 medium and heavy tanks are usually around 50%, it's current 30% is a tier 6 level at best.

I worry that Wargaming are testing players to see if they can start reducing earnings on premium tanks, which will be bad for us all.

I also notice that Wargaming staff respond to certain threads but they haven't explained anywhere as to why this tank has such low silver earnings.
