The 360 was released in 2005. The Super Nintendo was released in 1991. With the new Gen next year, the 360 will be farther behind the newest console than the Super Nintendo was behind the 360.

You probably just made the most damaging post to the 360 in this entire thread. Unfortunately maybe half the people who read that will even get what you're saying.

MOEs so I can pretend like they matter

I still have my Atari 2600 (released in 1977) and it still works. The controllers are in bad shape but my little nephews like playing Pong and Combat when they come visit. WG since you make a WOT version for the Xbox 360 (which was released in 2005) could you make a version that I can play on my Atari? I am sure my nephews would enjoy it. If that is not possible I still have my original Xbox that stills works... Sadly my Xbox 360 died (red ring of death) a few years ago.

You want WOT when you've got Combat? At least with Combat, when the shell curves, it's on purpose.

Sony saying its softening its stance on CrossPlay but until then it seems WG want full confirmation, as max has put it WG is ready and its just a matter of a switch adapting to latter.

Nicely put....such a simple statement, wonder what the diehard 360 apologists think of it.

It would be a monumental change for WoT, having a larger population has numerous advantages for this game. I don't believe that account sharing between consoles will happen, however. It's a bit of a shame but I will still be more than happy with crossplay. Hopefully someone from WG provides a comment on this situation.

Supposidly a WG rep said it wont come due to a gifting issue of premium tanks.

I'm not sure what's stopping cross-play but not implementing cross-gifting if that's the case.

I certainly do. My uncle taught me a good life lesson on that game, don't expect victory handed to you if you're not very good ( I'm still not very good:D).

I thought they said cross-gift between both consoles isn't possible. Not cross-play because of cross gifting? Am I missing something here?

Max has said its possible..  I believe they even tested it internally.   It is a matter of getting approval from all the parties involved and until they get that.. we wait...  and die a slow death...  :(

Yeah anno. WG has been saying that for years. What I was on about. Was players saying cross-play wasn't possible because cross gifting wasn't possible.

Just wait until next year when the cloud based systems become available to the general public, I have already been accepted into Microsoft's beta program and they have confirmed that all games will be available on the cloud in the future.

TOKYO and REDMOND, Wash. — May 16, 2019 — Sony Corporation (Sony) and Microsoft Corp. (Microsoft) announced on Thursday that the two companies will partner on new innovations to enhance customer experiences in their direct-to-consumer entertainment platforms and AI solutions.

Under the memorandum of understanding signed by the parties, the two companies will explore joint development of future cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure to support their respective game and content-streaming services.

In layman's terms Sony will be using Microsoft's servers in the future for all of their online gaming.

Which in turn means the death of xbox 360 as it is incompatible with playstation.

PSA to all 360 users....   Black Friday is coming... this might be a good time to upgrade.    Amazon is giving me a 41 dollar credit for my XBOX 360 E series with 250 Gb HD.  You might get some return on your systems.   (I already have a XBONE, going to pick up another)

You're making an assumption there.  This was about servers, not gaming systems.  It doesn't mean that MS is changing any of it's servers.  This announcement really has nothing to do with the 360.

Ok let me make this clear for you as you obviously will not read the press statements.

Starting next year with cloud and rolling out to their entire networks both Sony and Microsoft systems will run on Microsoft servers..

Yes wargamming use their own servers for their game but both PlayStation and Xbox will be using the same Microsoft connection to these servers.

WG can talk smoke and mirror's all they like about conflict of purchase content meaning we can't have Cross play.

But this is boiling down to a fight between Microsoft, Google with their Stadia cloud service and Amazon's as yet unannounced cloud system.

People can bury their heads in the sand all they like but Sony are now effectively a customer of Microsoft and they needed to do this to survive.

Plus do you think WG will pass up the opportunity to put World of tanks on Googles and Amazon's service to keep some Xbox 360 customers happy..

I doubt microsoft want that either.

Maybe I am wrong and these companies don't want world of tanks on their systems.
