the top of the map should be harder to pass through and more open to shots from the middle. the meta needs some invigoration on this map. once upon a time people would actually use more than 10% of the map and snipe and scout in the middle of the map but nope; everyone into the tiny top corner
Most of this is just wrong, but I will agree that most individuals go to the corner and the corner does not take up a large portion of the map. They should expand the size of this corner--add another lane for flanking about in the corner. The middle is a wasteland and should be reduced in favor of expanding the corner.
Arty does in fact have good shots into the area and has the opportunity to hit multiple tanks at once. Additionally, if the arty moves up instead of sitting at spawn, you can have some wonderful games nailing unsuspecting individuals on the corners.
Also, I liked the old El Halluf because it had some great positions for shooting people at the corner. It is better now though.
