A rambling review of the tier 7chinese light tank, the WZ-131.

As usual, only skills on the crew are ones it picked up while playing the tank.

I did not include footage of the tank in its stock configuration this time, because I did not have it stock for very long.

I only have a few games in mine but I think it’s a decent light.
I think I like the 59-16 a bit more though.

How's the 59-16 these days? When I played it you would fight tier 9s regularly and you had a choice of a 76mm 5 shot autoloader that had no penetration or a 57mm single shot that did no damage.

I liked it a lot.
played it after the auto loader was taken away.
I used the 57 a lot.

I really liked that tank.  I'll have to watch later since no volume here at work.  The only thing annoying about that tank vs the T-34-1 and the WZ-132 vs the T-34-2 at tier VIII is the convoluted camo ratings.  In both cases, the light tanks have worse camo ratings than the medium tanks.

At tier VII specifically, the camo rating of the medium is 0.32 vs 0.28 while stationary.  While moving, it is 0.24 vs 0.28.  However, with silent driving, it becomes 0.28 (matching the light tank).

131 was a fantastic light.   I loved it, and the 132 on the way to the 121.

2 marked both, gotta buy em back to get 3 each on them

The meds dont have much else going for them.

The 132 is arguably one of the best t8 lights. Its certainly one of my favourites.

Agree on the WZ-132.  I actually liked both the mediums at VII and VIII as well.  I am going up both lines simultaneously.

I am curious if the camo anomalies started out that way or if the mediums got a buff or lights got a nerf at some point.

How does the WZ-131 stack up against the Dragon Type 62? Just asking because I could earn the Type 62 in the Monster Hunter Op. I do love the 59-16, didn't play it for a while but played it the other day and killed it.

dragon 62 doesn’t have the top gun but they’re pretty similar.
The dragon 62 is a good tank.
