In order to be effective in these tanks an not get ammo racked 2x in each match so you do not end up with a 20 sec plus reload.

   Find a spot to camp sit BACKWARDS  if they are going to pen give them your engine , heck it is basically the same armor that protects your ammo.

I don’t have issues with ammo racks on British meds or heavies. Plus, I usually run a small and large repair kit to combat the double ammo rack scenario, as I hardly ever get set on fire in UK tanks so I forgo a fire extinguisher.

Known weakness, they are the most ammo-racked ingame.

Any experienced player knows it and will aim for your rack if you let your hull exposed, 2 repair kits, and crew skill are a must on Chieftain, and Centurion, i even run wet ammo rack on Centurion 1, combined with food the tank is still one of the best tier VIII.
