Hey.

just wondering if anyone else has noticed that 10 degrees of gun depression doesn’t feel or look like 10 degrees of gun depression. I’m pretty sure either the model is wrong or there is a glitch.

Could someone else with this tank check it too please? I went to a normal place I use my tanks with circa 10 degrees and I couldn’t get the gun down to fire on the enemy.

cheers

chris

I bet the answer is you get the full 10 degrees only over certain parts of the hull.  Think of the Japanese heavies.... they don’t get their full gun depression over parts of the hull either.

....just going to check that now.

it’s a little bit less over the back. Seriously this tank just feels like it has 6 or 7 degrees, not 10

I did notice this and assumed that you get 10 over the sides and only 8 over the front. Could be something wrong though. Does seem odd that you wouldn't get 10 over the front with the hull design.

Looks like it's 10 degrees all around except for the rear deck area

Wouldn't be the first time there was a model glitch.

My dislike of +/- 1 pales in comparison to my hatred of Loaded Dice.

I can't test it for myself until the non-barf version comes out.

Maybe all that cosmetic crap stops it from fully depressing the gun like the un-skinned version?

I was thinking something along those lines. Wasn't too long ago they had a vehicle model that had something dead center of the hull that made the gun aim up a tad and wouldn't allow any depresion of that spot they had to fix. For the life of me I can't remember which tank it was but do remember some threads and patch notes about it.

A few of the Soviet and Japanese tanks that have the small turrets in the front are like that.

OK. But according Max above - this is NOT the case for this tank. And it should be 10 degrees in every direction except over the back.

Don't rush me, I'm waiting for the last moment!

If memory serves this one was an actual model error and the gun was moving over something that wasn't there. May have been on a merc tank but I'd have to do some research and find it.
