Hi there,

i was just wondering if i should even bother grinding the Foch. The amx ac 48 is by very far my most hated tank in this game. 34% win rate as it stands.

Yes, it is better.

If you want to be one of the 47 Ronin check out our recruitment post and then send a message to Prof935 (xbox) or dimka935 (ps4).

Seems like most people prefer the tier nine but I really enjoyed the tier eight.  Loved that three shot autoloader.

The Foch is the best of the line. Good gun and armor for it’s tier.

Don't bother with the tier ten though. The Foch 155 is such a let down, it has the worst gun handling I’ve seen in the game (even worse with the Foch B package), bad armor, low HP and ok mobility.

I find the Foch(B) to be a fairly good tank, but it's not too flexible. Working with very low gun ark & only 6° of depression can be frustrating often. It has very good armor, but an incredible weakness on the top that you cant hide because it has not nearly enough depression to do so. That hat makes you want to play it at long range, but you can't do that with the 155 gun & sniper mediums don't care about distance, they just smack through your hat anyway. NEVER play it with the 155 gun. The 155 will make you want to sell the Foch 10 minutes after you buy it, the gun handling makes it about as accurate as an artillery. Lol

I thoroughly enjoyed the AMX AC48 & Tier 9 Foch, but I played them before they changed them to autoloaders, so i can't say as of now. Back then, i HATED the Foch 155, I'd rather play the tier 9 Foch (120) because it had a good 120 & better mobility from less weight.

In the current game I like the Foch (B), though i wouldn't say its worth grinding for it when The T57 Heavy is a far more flexible autoloader with a turret.

Keep in mind, they are specialist destroyers. You're probably going to hate them until you figure out how to work them, but they can be exeptionally lethal once you know what you're doing. I have a 59% win rate in the AMX AC 48 (204 battles with 302 kills)  & a 55% in the tier 9 Foch (274 battles with 382 kills). I have not played them as autoloaders though, it'll likely be a totally different experience than when I played them.

I think overall I enjoyed the Foch at tier 9 a bit more than the AMX AC 48, though they play very similar, so if you don't like the tier 8, I dont think you'll like the tier 9 or 10.

I have the amx 50b, 50 120 and the foch the heavys are just better you get a slightly longer reload on the 120 compared to the tier nine foch.  2 seconds to be exact but you get a turret and better mobility. The french tds are pretty pointless unless you just like french tanks. They should buff the penetration if they are going to keep tanks like the waffle and 183 unnerfed.
