The chapter I use the most for crew training is the first, "brother" (first mission) and (the fourth mission). To train a Japanese crew with the STA-2 Black is more problematic because before thinking to achieve the secondary objectives to have the bonuses .... you must already try to survive the mission!

Do you choose which chapter of "History of War" is compatible with this tank?

Live fire exercise is probably your best bet, proving grounds also has some decent levels where you can use range to your advantage.

The STA-2 does have premium matchmaking so it gets more fair matches in regular battles anyway, so I'd hold on crew training against bots until after you've run into the wall of idiocy of random teams.

If I only had a Baneblade....

The chance of survival for the STA-2 in Live Fire is very low, the 3 bots of the end are enraged.

They simply cut the profits and replaced the normal bots crew with fanatical, rabid and psychopathic bot crews on the acid.

Yes, those 3 lights that spawn at the end are out for your blood and dont waste a second coming straight for you screaming profanities while foaming at the mouth, if you have bad armor (if you are unlucky even with good armor, they seem pretty good at nailing your weakspots while on the move at any range)on your tank they will turn your [edited]inside out

For tanks with no armor I used to play the second mission on the flashpoint berlin, you have lots of support from heavies and TDs, let them be your meatshields while you farm dmg, sadly like someone else said the XP and Silver gains were nerfed into oblivion so now yo get better gains on proving grounds but nothing amazing, in all honesty you are better off just playing on multiplayer, even on a bad game you are bound to get more XP and silver than on war stories

The HT no VI does the job well, the problem was not the chapter but the choice of tank, but you're right it's not paying.

STA-2 will work fine in Live Fire...

Watch this video from CodenameGunther

As mentioned, second chapter of Flashpoint Berlin is decent if you stay behind your bots. Head in to the city and start calling for help to get your bots to go in if they aren't already doing so. Mark targets and focus fire. Agree multiplayer is better with the STA-2 especially with PMM. But for those low pop times on the server...

And once you finish Storyteller XI you get that 30 days of Premium ;)

Good luck.

If I play Live Fire in a weakly armoured tank, I kill the 2 SPGs then go back to where the sniper is, or was, then carefully go down the cliff and go sit behind the cap circle. If your sniper is still alive, the last 3 will attack him, sometimes by driving towards him, if that happens you can usually shoot them from below. When the sniper is dead they'll head for the cap circle, coming down the hill adjacent to the SPGs.

I've tried playing this mission in an assortment of different tanks but I can't say it's worth the time or effort to do so. With that said, the Kaiju is a mismatch of a tank to bring in there. I don't even think it's possible for them to penetrate the tank let alone kill it. Drive Kaiju.

If you read thru the posts. WG does not really want you playing War stories anymore. They need you in multiplayer..

I’d play multiplayer if the teams didn’t sh#t the bed nearly every match. Being on teams full of red stat warriors is ok for a few matches. But blowouts quickly become not fun. That’s when I jump to warstories. So it’s either I keep playing world of tanks and jump back and forth from multiplayer and war stories and spend money or simply just play a few rounds and stop and stop spending money and go play war thunder and spend money there.
