They nerfed the gun handling and side armor like 2 years ago. Hilariously they buffed the frontal armor to compensate and actually just made the tank better because it's practically immune to tier 8s and some 9s now.

Sure don't feel nerf. as for the armor. now it's pretty much the same as the M103 (which is more or less lot of US tanks are based on like the Fatton and E series.

E.g. I had to use mostly T57 Heavy to get the kills number faster in Stage 7 for Chisel contract. Suppose the people use it a lot for Chisel contract higher stages too and maybe Sharpshooter contract too.

The turret got a substantial armor increase in weak areas. That's why it's practically immune to standard ammo now. Like I said they took crap it didn't need anyway and gave it something it did need. In all cases it was basically a buff.

I’m slowly training a crew up for my T57, looking forward to running it again.

Have been debating going up this line. Pretty far behind though, I think I made it to tier 5.

Tier 8 and 9 are meh but if you like autoloaders T57 is totally worth  it. 
They do well in ranked also.

It's always entertaining playing like crap and ending on 6k damage because 3k DPM on an autoloader. 

 

Play the wrong side of the map, snipe, miss 50%+ of your shots, don't help the team at all. Still end the game with 4k+ damage, because autoloaders with 3k+ DPM are so very fair and balanced especially when they are good at hull down and brawling. It makes the bat chat look like dog poo it's so "balanced" and "competitive".

They think it is the best tank to earn those high caliber medals in the Chisel contract.

 

But the best tank for that is any tank played late at night...

i really wish i went up the T-57 heavy line, looks very fun and would be a great change of gameplay instead of playing tier 10s that all play the same for the chisel contract...

I have one that hangs somewhere in my garage I think, I should try it again. When I unlocked it I was disappointed by it.
