All unicorns are going to hate me after disclosing this information to the public like this

But I'm willing to take one for the team

The secret to being a unicorn is...

Psssst...over here, quickly before they catch on to me

Actually i was expecting this to be a troll thread, just like most of the responses you can read on this very forum.

10/10. I wouldn't say it better, but louder.

I really laugh and actually there are several elements that are true (depending on the circumstances) for example why stay with 2 slow tank overflowed by 6 red when you can go back, take a shooting spot and do 3X more damage ... can even win the greens. By cons I do not see how drowning in the lake can improve your ranking, 1 shot more is always good to take even if you are already doomed to lose.

I know of no "super unis" that intentionally drown due to no chance for a win.

The rest of the advice is very humorous. 7/10

This is a truth of 50/50.

Not all unicoms do this.

Much of unicoms have knowlege how to Play this Game.

I dont use a lot of premuni cause i know where the weakspots are. I only use premuni when im a tier 8 Medium and my enemy is a amored monster that i cant pen. This means i mostly have only 10 premuni loaded in a Tank. In some Tier 10th i only have a Standard loadout (Leoperd 1, chisel, and some others).

U can pen an E100 turret with the IS-7 AP (between turret and hull there is a not angled steel).

If u look at my stats the average Tier is 8.08. i Play mostly8,9 and 10. I dont like lower tiers much. I only Play lowtier when i have to grind a new line.

I also bring 5 year experience from pc to console.

But console is harder to Play cause u have low camo (bushes,  trees and so on).

It's a stab at a couple friends of mine who do drown when the game is about to be over d(as in we are getting our butts kicked) despite them being better than me lol

"play 5 games a day"

most of them I've seen do a "1 and done".  get a high damage game for a tank and that's it for that day, doesn't matter if it's a win or loss on it.

a unicom what went to drown isnt a unicom! Its a useless coward chicken. Real unicoms Go and fight cause a real unicom Play not for a win! They Play to do dmg.

It is always better for unicoms to get lot of dmg and lose A battle (cause WN 8 grow and u earn silver) as they drown without (cause Lösung WN8 and silver)

As everyone in my clan would tell you I am a fairly average player who spent his time getting the Senior Technical Engineer Award and coin the last five years.

In doing so my overall WIN8 is only 1390 (Good) having ground my way up every tank line. With the number of games I have in I will never be Unicum unless I started a fresh account, however a year ago I decided my next effort was going to be improving my WIN8. I used the wotstatsconsole.de site to sort my tanks by WIN8, then starting setting my game favorites to only be those tanks I was dark Blue (Great) or Purple (Unicum) in that I had at least 50 games in. (That gave me 136 tanks out of the 359 I have to play.) My only exception to this rule was tier X tanks we use in clan battles; those tier X tanks I get called on to play that the clan needs but I suck in I still have tagged as favorites (like the Maus or E4). So, using my system my overall Win8 has been slowing climbing about 20 points per week, this week’s stats  I’m at 1831(very Good).

There are a lot of tanks I pass on playing that I have fun playing, but stats are my focus. So why worry about stats you say? Well your overall clan rankings are determined by the aggregate stats of the entire clan as a whole. If you check the wotclans.com.br site you can see where you fall in your clan rankings.

Other stat improvement observations:

Your goal is to do the maximum damage per game, not necessarily win.

Don’t reinforce failure, if the team does a lemming train, go with the flow.

Let noobs suck up damage, don’t play aggressive unless there is a high payoff.

Hope this helps new players…

While I don't judge nor blame you, I find it rather unhealthy to give up your enjoyment of the game because of some numbers. Obviously you still enjoy the game to some degree, but you give up on some things to improve statistically. I occasionally become obsessed with stats as well, more so than I would like to admit. But I'm enjoying the game the most when I'm just not forcing myself to grind something or care too much about my numbers.
