Really like the changes, the post battle report and the camo in particular, question though, I am not that bright and sometimes I don't notice things, but I DID notice that 3 of the 4 camos on my T-100LT were removed when I first logged in after the update.  When I went to put them back on I had nine camos in stock...was that the compensation for removing them?  does that mean somewhere in my 200+ tanks there are 6 more camos removed that need replacing?  or is this all unrelated weirdness?

I know this tank, I know this gun --- I quite literally sent 8 or 9 airballs down field in a row. No bounces, no contacts, using HE of course, and I threw, with this this new updated reticle that's supposed to be improving my shooting, I open the match with 8 or 9 straight grounders & airballs, scoring zero damage. That has never, ever happened. Not ever.

 

So I dunno, double check this reticle update. Perhaps it's working in some cases but it's certainly not working properly on my Type 5 and various other tanks.

 

Of course this is under the assumption that it's supposed to be helping us better put rounds on target, not intended to mask the true bloom/dispersion value so that we miss when the reticle says we should hit.

 

Loaded dice is active right now, too...Might not be the best time to assess the changes...kinda weird WG decided to release them together....

i can't link you to specifics but when WG said they were going to change the reticle I wasn't sure what they were going to do to it. When the update came out I tested it to see the difference. The server lag that use to be there is almost completely gone and wild shots happen way less often. Now tanks with good gun handling can actually use their gun like it's suppose to be used. 

Never underestimate your teams ability to lose.

Comments made after 15 or so games:

 

- haven’t seen any noticeable difference in the MM, except longer queue times, which I am putting down to the +1/-1 event.

- dislike the change in contrast on the results screen.

- dislike the larger light blue ring around your location on the mini-map/compass - It’s too prominent.

- not fussed either way on the camo overview.

- like the new top package on the AMX 65t

- can’t notice a difference in the sniper mode, muzzle flash - still too bright

 

Overall, an underwhelming update.

I noticed a change to my Hardcase but I did not see it mentioned in the update. Any changes other than the T56 and the Hardcase?  Nothing in developer’s bulletin since Nov 12. The rest of the changes are good but I did notice more ‘dirt’ shots and misses at distance on a stationary target.

I like the inclusion of the Camo at a Glance feature but could you perhaps add an X in each box for skinned tanks to which you can't add camo patterns, for example Captured KV-1, Skorpion G and Tiger 131.

PBRS - Info is good, it just needs to be aligned with the existing columns of info.
Game Mode Selector - no opinion.
Concealment Rating for Camo Paint - Thank you!  I would still like to see the scale adjusted downward a bit as right now there are waaay too many tanks that top out the current rating system, making the rating useless for comparison between stealthy tanks.
AMX 65 t - Thank you!  It'd be nice to have that same package with the 120mm gun as well.
High Caliber - Much needed change.  Thank you!
Muzzle Flash - no opinion.

Yes. Since the game was released. WG didnt make it clear but an aiming reticle you saw was more like an indicator whether your gun is ready to shoot with max accuracy. But it didnt show you a dispersion the gun actually had at any specific time frame. Because the displayed reticle was roughly 2 times bigger than actual dispersion circle of a gun.

I liked the idea of adding the point you make from experience and experience of the crew. It would be better to add the amount of points (instead of the percentage) that your commander lacks to raise a skill.

The way I had it best described to me was that your reticule used to show what your Xbox ‘saw,’ now, it shows you what the server ‘see’s.’  ...which is the one that counts.

"Handbrake" does not work after the patch on PS4 or XB1 with the "Driver" controller configuration.

  • Adjusted the muzzle flash in sniper view so it's not as bright - the flash is still bright.

 

Against and cons innovation control with keyboard and mouse, not specified in the patchnote:

- now i can't select a module with mouse movement in the circle repair and treatment menu, this is disgusting;

- now i can't  choice and select square on the minimap with mouse movement; 

- now i can't select order with mouse movement in the circle menu communication.

 

Please, return control with mouse as it was!!!

Please get rid of this Loaded Dice stuff. It's a huge nerf to high rate of fire tanks. Alpha already gets an advantage in this game. Now you're nerfing RoF tanks even more.

 

My dislike of +/- 1 pales in comparison to my hatred of Loaded Dice.

the circle around your tank on the mini map is terrible.  it covers the tank icons of friendly/enemy tanks in close proximity.  what was the reason for adding this?  do some ppl have trouble determining which icon is their tank?

Been using it all year for the days where I've only got chance for a single game over breakfast. Yes you really can play arty and eat cereal at the same time.:trollface:
