I dont necessarily miss the clan but it would be nice to see some of the guys.

I stumbled into Ace's YouTube videos a few years back and that is one of the things that caused me to "want" to get better......not that I ever got very good but at least I strive to be better.

I'm not certain JustAnAce would want linked to that clan anymore.   In fact,  I would like to know which he hates more,  arty or 7F?

I miss the competitive spirit that this game once had, and I think it's a shame that WGCB never did much of anything to foster it.

True......I think there were some hard feelings there for 7F.  Of course his hatred for arty was legendary!

Well it was competitive content or reskins. We all know what WG picked.

I miss what the game was and what It could've been. 

 

Wargaming Console had everything availiable from the population ready to play in tournament events to volunteers to host and moderate such tournaments and they slept on the chance to grow the game into a healthy game.

 

Now of course their vision is on profit like every company should be but juggling healthy competitive scene to promote the game whilst creating reskins to milk yesmen is possible. But of couse just making enough reskins and plethora of terrible console exclusive maps until clock out was their path they've taken.

 

I think the real problem dwells within outdated leadership in the WGA game dev department. How much power to have to do what with their game. And just complete ignorance of a comp standpoint stemming from the top down.

Kaiser has said what I have opined many times about the declining player numbers. When the game launched on the X1, it was in a place to take off. There was much talk about tournaments, CW, etc.  WG opted to not go in that direction and as a result, in my opinion, many of the best players didn’t want to wait any longer so they moved on.

JustAnAce was an essential part of 7F. He just had quarrels with individuals.

 

He was an essential part of 7F being the phoenix that rose from the ashes of PG's downfall and onward to winning it all when comp was at it's peak. History that can't be erased and forgotten.

 

The time and experiences we had at peak peformence is irreplicateable.

The memories and rush beyond game.

I may be wrong,   but didn't he set up 7f then hand control to someone else whilst taking a break?  His return didn't go to smoothly,   but without both sides of the story I only no his side that was told in a video.

Not missing a specific clan, but indeed the rivalries between several good clans who could compete with each other and the matches they fought. 

 

These days you either have very strong or bad clans and only very very few inbetween. 

Also miss to watch the tournament streams and the comp. Videos. Sure there are a few tournaments organized by Players or WG RU but overall the fire the comp players once had is gone.

No. That's not what happened. No sole person was lead more like a council of a few of us and there was no return or handover lol. It was a matter of him clashing with another person. Both equals

I miss:

- playing with and against really good players on a more consistent basis, gave me an ongoing goal to get better.
- miss the competitive content that was created. Tournaments, videos etc ..

I miss the old crew on here.  Gatz made me realize that he was right about arty being terrible.  DrDoobie420 made me realize great players knew things that I didn't, and made me want to get better.  JoeDaFrogman made me think about more than what just happened 1v1, and think more about the game at large.  Matthew J35U5, Ginger Bair, Leatherbelt, and Radica1cat made me see how a platoon could do well but still have fun.  Silkysmooth, Exhaustedman, Giaka, TTone5722, and Major Englush made me see you could have fun and not to worry about how much I drank in platoon. 

 

There's a couple dozen really good to really great players that made this game a lot of fun over the years.  The ones above are just some of those I miss playing with and against.

I miss the old clan days. It was so much fun, I improved so much, and had so much fun play and meeting people from across the globe. WGCB has really run this game into the ground. It's so sad what this game has become and its ultimate demise.
