I only play this game with friends, occasionally solo when I'm grinding the stock tenks, contracts, ect. Recently I opened myself up to the world of LFG, thinking to myself, how will this go? My experience thus far is as follows:

- You tend to find the same people hosting day in and day out, not always a bad thing, yet it can be quite stale after a few days.

- Quite a large number of the hosts are often rage filled trash cans who will remove you from the party for non-specified reasons. Again, not always a bad thing when your looking to cut and run but didn't want to be "that guy".

- Hosting your own is a mixed bag. You find some decent individuals who are borderline good human beings, you also find the trash cans you were hoping to avoid by creating your own post. Balanced.

- Tags are a thing, some are goofy while others indicate the exact thing you're looking for. Just don't be surprised when hosting that 63% of the individuals interested in your post haven't read them.

All in all I believe it to be a good tool for those who aren't in high profile groups or clans, who enjoy slight to moderate human interaction every now and again to see if you might make a new tank buddy.

I only used it once and have been playing with a great bunch of lads ever since.

I got lucky I guess.

It's "looking for group" on xbox. If you need to find more players for a game or want to play with some folks.

You can hit your guide button, scroll left a couple of times to mulitplayer, the bottom option is LFG. Simply select that and search for your

game of choice.

The LFGs are a crapshoot. I platooned with people that were really good but yet they understood nothing of the game so they decided to block me when I told them how something worked.

I now have a few people I platoon with, by invitation.  We generally have fun, but we don't converse.

The only platoon I played with in a communal gamers sense was a small group of XGN clan - remember XGN?  Again by invite.    I actually had a good time playing with them, until they dropped me.  They would generally die in about 2 minutes, then spend the rest of the game watching me play  - for better or worse.     They played for fun, and had fun and I did not blame them.

I have only played with my son mostly and some of his friends on a few occasions. Though now that I have a bit more free time and my own place; I may look into playing with others

The Warrior of The Wasteland...The Ayatollah of Rock N' Rolla....

Haven't platooned much since I was in XGN - must be four + years ago I left. Was General of one of its branches and played a lot of platooning with those under my command. And it was fun - never could find another group to replace those friends I lost. One of the reason I bemoaned WG's decision to kill Clan Wars on the console.

Don't converse with anyone except by the wheel - don't even bother having the chat volume loud enough to hear anything cause it is toxic most of the time.
