An Op structured as a 3-month quest seems like a way to set-and-forget the event from a Dev's standpoint. It requires less work on their part on a monthly basis perhaps? I hope it means they will be devoting time instead to improvements or new features (and I don't mean reskins). And we can only speculate really, because they don't tell us what's happening until events already start. If they are simply cutting back, that's too bad. And if that's the case... thanks, Max and Rai, for your efforts over the years. Best of luck!

I have a pessimistic view regarding this and thought the same thing.  We will see.

It could be about the discounts on the year end reward. Instead of 10% each month it's now 25% each quarter with four quarters required for a free reward.

I was under the assumption that you could (in theory) play non-stop if you wanted and accumulate the points as your leisure. But in reality, you still have dailys, so you are still somewhat at the mercy or each day resetting the Ops? If that is the case, then it is not as cool as it sounded in my head initially. Not that it really matters, but I thought it was set up so you could accumulate points over and over in 1 sitting. That would eliminate not having to do the daily routine, therefore take breaks and not be behind. But in turn, you could make it up by prolonged sittings where you could accumulate more points than you were able to in the last format.

But the Making A Point ops have diminishing returns as you get higher. Hopefully they reset monthly.

I agree!  Once you finish all the daily ops their is not good reason / incentive to keep playing.  Would have been nice if you had a lot of time on your hands to keep playing and keep getting points.  That way if your busy the next day who cares.  Suggestion.  You get the extra bonus for completing all the daily ops but then the ops rest / keep resetting till the next day.  Only one daily bonus per 24 hours but point give thru out the 24 hours.  That is what it sounded like they were going to do; finish all the ops in less days.

Made it to WINTER GAMES:VIII and the rewards so far have been pitiful.

Didn't you get 20 battles at x3xp when you got to 40 points under the old ops structure?

Well, I now have the equiv of 120pts and have received:-

10k silver

1 x2xp

1 SRK, 1 SFAK

1 x2 silver

2 AFEs (premium)

20k silver

1 x3xp

3 SRKs, 3 SFAKs

If the rewards don't improve soon then I won't worry about completing the ops.

Medals: 3 Pools, 6 Oskins, 12 Orliks, 33 Radley-Walters, 71 Kolobanovs, 98 Devastators, 1508 Top Guns. Survivor: 41 battles.

I haven't paid attention to that. I will have to check it out, this evening.

op good point. Add the other items from other threads, locked threads, $100 279(e) if you didn't get it free, blowout games, etc. and it all points to maximize revenue/ minimize cost ( even the not having anymore tier X coins manufactured for those that earn it.).

Crawling death crawl.

Bingo. I thought the exact same thing. We've been back burnered.

I am going to get it done in 28 days or less. I don't care if I get fired. Who needs sleep?

They could have avoided all of this by posting what you get for all one hundred stages.

I also think it will lead to less hoarding of the boosts.

I think it is more to get regular players to play daily. Us idiots that already play daily will figure out how to make it work faster... But we already play daily.
