The improved motor in the 131 gives it 870 HP and 15.29 hot.....and yet the turret rotation is slower than lower HP engines??  Where is the logic? The turret rotation must be increased to 26  deg/sec to match its increased horsepower.

MaxChaos.....what say you?

My opinion? The 131 is already OP, if it was to get changes, it wouldn't be to buff it.

For some logic, remember it took a shell into the turret ring which jammed and disabled it. The turret ring is still a bit damaged so it's a little slower to rotate.

Cheers Max, very nice answer with a bit of history facts too. People easily forget 131 is real ww2 tank and it has story behind it.

Why would you rattle that cage? As Max said if they decide to change something about it, it wouldn't be a buff of any kind. To complain about 131's turret being slow while it has gun on steroids, DPM like no other Tiger and it can only fight up to tier 8...

However OP have the point. Increased Horse Power supposed to increased all the mobility aspects of the tank. Not Just top speed, but also back speed, hull and turret rotation.

Too bad it’s not named the super Pershing as it won’t get nerfed for being op.

I used to have my stats here but I’d rather make people work to see how crap I am instead.

Max is correct though, the actual tank was captured because it had a jammed turret ring. The Tiger 131 turret should not rotate at all.

What are you guys even talking about? OP never said anything about his turret ring beeing damaged. Only about using consumables which suppose to increase Engine horse power.

The real tank that lives in Bovington Museum was captured in North Africa. The crew bailed out after it was a hit by a round that bounced off the mantlet and jammed the turret.

See here: https://en.wikipedia.../wiki/Tiger_131

In game terms Max is right the 131 does not need a buff of any description.

Thanks for the answer Max.  I love the Tiger and have all in the game. I do like this 131, however I don't find it "OP" at all.  The Tiger was top of the pecking order in WWII and yet in this game it has been power creeped and it sees battles against tanks that didn't even exist at the time. Therefore, the Tiger tank in the game isn't OP and neither are any of its premium variants. There is a cult following of the Tiger tank, so I wonder why it has been allowed to be so severely power creeped.

As for the turret, I wouldn't expect to buy a damaged tank, and this isn't mentioned as a drawback in the description of the tank, only as a historical reference.  So I would still like to see the Turret rotation improved. The Russian developers seemed to have no problem granting the T-VI-100 an extra 4° to turret rotation for a total of 24°/sec even though the gun they placed on it is larger.

So based on the 870hp Maybach engine the turret rotation should be about 26°/sec, I would be gappy with the 24°.  So I hope that this still gets looked at and improved.

Lol

The Brits also captured damaged German u boats too. Like the Jon Bon Jovi movie, only true.
