Id recommend not using the 15, you get better ROF, depression while backed in, aim, higher dps and better overall flexibility with the 12.8.  Can check out my stats that’s all 12.8 except maybe 5 matches I tried the 15 in, it’s fun to troll and may save you once in a while late game but 12.8 is where it’s at

Yeah I've actually used/have both guns through the jagtiger/E-100 but I still have to unlock the tracks and radio to use them haha. That 12.8 560 damage is soooo nice.

You can sweat it up in a medium or a light in tier 9 and bust your balls fighting tier tens.

Or you can Load up a TD and sleeze alpha and Dpm your way to success.

They really are actually incredibly good and because of the guns you can in theory ignore prem ammo and still pack in idiot massive games with ease. They basically have no downside.

I would say this is for all of them excluding the 103 and 122-54. The 103 because it's good at one thing and one thing only, and that sucks. The 122-54 however is literally just garbage, don't even bother with it the thing blows.

MOEs so I can pretend like they matter

Very true on the ammo. Had a game this evening in my T30; mostly tier X match; a little over 5k raw damage. Didn't use any premium ammo. It was only worth a 1st class too.

I've had some quite good success with the 15cm gun.

In fact, I have not once touched the 12.8cm guns on the WT Pz IV even once.

The better power to weight and frontal gun depression lead to a more mobile version of the tank. I tend to second line semi-brawl with mine, to moderate effectiveness.

I also quite like the SU-122-54, as it allows me to do similar things. Quite an agile machine, that one is.

You can PM with with questions, if you wish. I don't bite.

Compilation thread of my ideas

The Waffle PzIV is great. It somehow went unnoticed during the TD view range nerf so it still has 410m view range, one of the best guns in the tier and is decently stealthy.

Is it perhaps that tier ten tds are so op that they make the 9s looks bad?

My opinion on the T IX tank destroyers I have played.   Disclaimer.  I do play my TDs semi aggressively in the second line support.  How often do you get a wide open map?

Waffen auf Pz IV.   Probably one of my favorites and a laser of a gun.  It takes a little to get use to the rear mounted turret, but never found it as a deterrent.  Also some of my best matches in the Waffen were on Ensk.

Jagdtiger.  Another favorite.  Really good gun.  Good mobility and you can surprise circling lights and mediums with the hull traverse.  Just need to angle and rock between shots.  Think the upper plate (around the gun) needs a slight armor buff.

T30.  Did ok with it.  I found that I got into trouble way too often in it.  Hull armor is worthless.  The 155mm gun is awesome.  Nice to smack tough hull-down tanks with HE.

T95.  It’s 50/50.  Pick a lane and go.  You are either in the fight or your not.  You are very hard to dig out once you are in.   Had a match on Icebound and was the last tank alive.  I back into a tunnel section in the center of the the map.  Reds tried, but got discouraged.  Carried two large repair kits, but never ever tried to use the second (boost for track repair).

Comway.  I need to go back and play it more.  I didn’t find it horrible.  It’s better than a lot of players give it credit for. The Conway gets you ready for the Poop Bar.  Large target.  Poor camo.  Played it as a forward support TD.  Favored the 120mm over the 5.5.  The HESH moments at T IX were few and far between.

OBJ.704.  Probably my least favorite.   Never had a gun troll me as much as this TD has.  I can’t tell you how many rounds were dump at targets under 100m.   It’s great when you actually hit targets with the 152mm.   Honestly thought the front armor was absolutely worthless.

It's absolutely fantastic, but the grind is atrocious and the 155/50B isn't very good so most tend to avoid the whole line.
