I would have easily said the 5/4, but now that it has been neutered via the mm changes (it sees tier 7s way more often than it used to), I can't vote for it.

Yeah but it more than makes up for it when it gets unleashed on Vs, like a schoolyard bully after getting knocked around by older brothers, lol.

Are we talking OP in a good player's hands or just any player's hands? I'd argue the Minuteman isn't even close to the most overpowered tier VII when played by a good player, but a worse player will probably find it to be much easier to play and harder to deal with than just about any other tier VII.

Also, I don't really know why the Chrysler K is on the poll. I wouldn't even call it the best tier VIII heavy tank, let alone the most OP tier VIII or tank in general.

Am I not the only getting absolutely crap teams?  I was planning on grinding some tech tree tanks with the 2x, but now I am not sure if it is worth it.

Even these over powered tanks can't take on several tanks at once when your team just dies within two minutes.

Stop thinking of the greens as 'teammates' and start thinking of them instead as 'those [edited]idiots I have to carry' and you'll have a better time.

Anybody’s hands, I couldn’t think of another tier 8 tank that makes me either automatically load premium shells or just flat out look for another path

You aren't in the true unicum mindset until you see them as distractions and meat shields, only there so you can stretch your hit points just a little farther.

Somedays I think the exact same thing.  It even changes my game play at times when I get a streak of bad teams. There are times in a battle where a risk needs to be taken to change the flow of the what is happening to your team and you make a move.  Other times you have been aggressive early to give your team the advantage.  In both cases I have seen teams squander what should have been an easy victory.  Makes gameplay more cautious so that you can be around for the final battle.

In that case I'd say it's probably the Absolution. Its armor is idiot-proof both in the regard that bad players really struggle against it and the fact that there's not much you can do to make the armor better against better players, it's just fast enough that it can keep up with the battle or fall back without being so fast that bad players overextend themselves constantly, and its gun is obviously very good regardless of who's playing it. I still think it's a very overrated tank and there are a bunch of tier VIs I feel are better when played well, but for a bad player or possibly even your "Average Joe" I think it's probably the strongest tank above tier IV.

It also still amazes me how many people feel the V/IV is so overpowered. The only OP thing about the tank is its high health pool, and if its health were brought in line with other tier V tanks it would just be a bad III/IV with better hull armor.

Presently I'd say the Even 90/Vanguard. It's absurdly difficult to hit at full speed. I've seen them drive straight though the entire team and into the base to kill arty right at the start of the match.

vanguard isn’t op though- gameplay wise, it may be a little broken.  It doesn’t make bad players look good, while it does make competent players look amazing. That’s why I’ve excluded it from the poll.

Which is exactly what it should be?

Historically they turret couldn't even rotate as it was just for testing purposes.

If you cut its health to a sensible number you could probably give it the pre-nerf hull traverse back. But as it currently is its just silly.

Fair enough. It's high skill players abusing it that's the problem.

As for the poll choices, I don't know that any of them make bad players look good. They kill bad players easier for sure though. Minuteman and Absolution have glaring weak spots in their armor that most players fail to hide. The V/IV's only real advantage anymore is the large health pool; premium round spam negates any armor it has. The few times I've used it lately it's gotten dragged into tier VII matches more often than not. Dreadnought has no useable armor and is very feast or famine. The Chrysler is dangerous when people know how to use that frontal armor, but most of the ones I see like to over expose their sides.

I'd fully support the idea of nerfing its health and giving it back its old traverse speed; I just don't think it needs a flat health nerf with no other changes.

Wrong, it was not for testing but was a Field Depot level cannibalization to make a command tank for the 653rd Heavy Panzerjager Battalion (Ferdinands) . They took the hull from a Bergapanther Recovery Vehicle and bolted a modified Pz. IV turret onto it. You are right though in that it did not rotate. The 653rd also had a Tiger (P) which was used as a Command Vehicle and it was lost during their retreat in July/August 1944 on the Eastern Front. The only known combat use of the Tiger (P).

Note: I am not talking about broken tanks, so vanguard or iron rain shouldn’t be an option. I put these tanks in thinking about one tank representative for each tier, but if you know of another tank that can perform highly no matter who is driving it please share.

Just curious what your purpose is in wanting to know?
